ginbeeeeeeeeeeeech
the lift is slow tho
The-Penetratori livein georgia and ill be straight up honest...
cattalochee... its a straight mountain with a lift that goes all the way to the top.. the run is probably 125 to 175 yards long. it goes by pretty quick but you get what you expect. On the lower half they try and set up a few rails and maybe a little jump
Beech mountain - pretty big for NC standards... the only quad in NC and when they have a park its pretty on point.. the other year they had 2 25-30 ft jumps and a 45 -50 jump at the end of the line.. the runs are considerably longer than catallochee and semi steep.. for sure a blue in utah standards..maybe a black but barely..
App ski mountain- very small..very very small... if you ski park go here because they generally have the best set up in the south. they have 2 lifts and it takes longer to go up and come down.... the park is on point most of time because they strive to have it set up with rails and jumps.. but it is very tiny..
sugar mountain - this one is probably the largest in NC (beech is close to size or same) but for sure Sugar has the longest run.. not sure how long but from top to bottom it takes a minute and you feel like you are not in NC.. they generally dot have a big park set up other than a few rails and maybe a jump ( doubtful)
your best bet is checking out the North Carolina Gold Card... its 820 and gives you access to all ski resorts in North carolina.. yes its expensive but the all the resorts charge around 65 to 80 so it can work its self out if you ski like 10 days or so.. plus if you get a pass to one resort you WILL get bored of it if you are used to skiing in Utah...
Just don't go into this thinking you are getting some good skiing.. i mean its good but nothing compared to Utah.. hope this helped out.. let me know if you have any questions
