Video upload issue

The file is an avchd file, and uploads fine to Youtube. When I tried to upload it here, once the progress bar is finished, it disappears, says "Finished" where it used to be, but nothing shows up below to add media details. The file does not show up in "My Media" either. I've tried 3 separate times, and get the same result.

What am I missing? Wrong video format?

AVCHD will not work with NS you need to convert it to an mp4, mov or avi (i believe all the supported formats are listed?)

Alright, makes sense. On the upload pop-up it just says no intermediate codecs. Thanks

As we're upgrading we might be able to add this. If you could start a list of unsupported codecs that you'd like to see added, we can see what we can do about it.
