Editing Software For Windows?

I'm looking for an editing software for Windows that does the job, but isn't too pricy. I know if you want a really good one you need to spend the money but does anyone have any recommendations on a decent one?

Adobe premiere pro, you can use it both on mac or windows, great software.


Sony Vegas is a decent windows editing program though for "less" but most amateurs don't pay for editing software.
