Bag with wheels or just a bag for traveling with skis?

I don't really think a plane is gonna do anything worse to my board than I can but trying to decide between a rolly bag and a regular one.

Trying to figure out if it will be easier to tow 2 things through the airport and then around a city or carry the board in a bag and tow my suitcase.

What kind of setup do you rock?

Also just ordered a bag. Not sure if my boards will fit or if it will get here before my plane leaves but I was too cheap to spend the extra $34 to have it guaranteed lol. Already dropped 79 on shipping which made me sick.

Hopefully it get's here

I have a regular ski bag for when I travel and I just carry that and roll my suitcase(s) around.

For the airport it's not really gonna matter. You'll only be carrying it for like 5 minutes or so. For the city it would probably be easier to have a rolly one but if you don't mind carrying it then it doesn't really matter

Rolling bags are awesome for carrying everything easily. I never use one because I want the lightest bag so I can bring more stuff.

Yeah that's what I was thinking originally. Ended up grabbing one anyway though. As long as I can fit my boots in there I should be able to bring everything I need. Trying to not bring too much shit.

Hopefully it gets here before I leave though. I totally spaced and forgot about the 4th as far as shipping.

I travel every year with skis and its much better for your back , arms and shoulders to use roller bags in both of your bags also ski bags are quite big you can put more stuff no only skiing stuff.

I got a armada roller bag and its fucking old and still works really good

i've got a Dakine roller bag that'll hold two pairs of skis and it's damn near perfect for travelling. It claims to be able to hold boots as well, but definitely not doable with two pairs of sticks in the bag.

last thing i want to do is have to carry a couple pairs of skis from one terminal to the next along with the rest of my luggage. i'm all about the lazy.

The armada ones are pretty much the same , two skis , two set of poles , boots and have a couple of pockets put other stuff theyre really good

I will definitly say it one of the best , not a fan of armada skis or outwear but for traveling bags i would say is the best.

Dakine roll bag for life. Only problem is the airport limiting you 50 pounds. I've stacked 70+ pounds into one of those bad boys. Unfortunately, I ended up having to carry a bunch of random shit along with my carry on through the airport.

I bought a Armada bag. Tough, heavy duty, big, but the only draw back was the claim that it could hold two skis up to 190cm skis. It barley holds my ON3P 186 BGs. I have to side-angle the skis in to get them in there. With those big bastards in there I can barley get my second shorter skis in there. I still like it just wish it would fit things better.

My Sport- Tube roller box has rolled all over Argentina and Chile 8 times and still kicking. Damn thing is indestructible and fits 2 pair of skis and poles easy.

Dakine 190 roller. Really happy with it as a purchase. I can fit 2 pairs of ~180 skis with boots, poles helmet and everything else i need for skiing for 2 weeks. Means i dont need multiple bags and can just fly with rollerbag and backpack as carry on.
To the person that said about it carrying 2 pairs of skis and boots its possible but you need to separate one of the pairs and take off the brakes so you can put them down the sides bases facing out. It takes some jiggery pokers but it's possible but its advertised as doable with one pair with the boots in the end pockets.
