Custom painting boots?

I have a pair of the bright yellow and green Full Tilt drop kicks and I love every part of them besides the color.

Has anyone ever tried to custom pain boots with success?
If so, what's the best kind of paint and materials to use?

Looking to create a more neutral color boot without buying new boots.

Any help/feedback is appreciated!

People have had some awesome results dying them. I know people who have spray painted their FT's, didn't work very well and it looked pretty ghetto, dying them seems to work way better.

Just to add to my previous post, look on page 4 of that thread I posted, a guy there has the same bright yellow/green boots as you and he dyed them purple/black, they look pretty sick.

dyed my green and yellow dropkicks with black RIT dye, came out really good. mine are on page 11 or something in that thread.
