Hey guys, I got this camera a month or two ago, and I recently bought a GH3 from Upped Ante Media, so this one has to go

Included is the

- GH2 (no body cap, sensor is clean, only damage is a slight tear on the eye cup which can be glued shut easily)

- Original battery and Charger

- 14-42mm Kit lens

- 3 Off Brand Batteries and another Charger

- 1 x 16gb Class 10 SD card, and 2 x 4gb Class 10 SD cards

- 1 x 2.5mm to 3.5mm mic adapter so you can slap your own rode mic on it or something

I won't part out, and I'm looking for 500 OBO net to me (so you pay shipping).


Will consider camera related trades.

Also have a Glidecam HD 4000 that I might be looking to sell to grab a 2000. 450 OBO minor scuffs on the shaft but that's it, nothing bent, everything in great condition and it includes a quick release plate.

I'll update the thread with pictures of it all later

Will also include a 7.5mm rokinon fisheye if that's your kinda deal for an extra 200. Glass is clean, aperture blades are oil free and work perfect, lens hood has a few scratches but that's the only damage to it.

Just curious why you're switching to an HD2000? I used an HD2000 on my GH2 and I found it to be too small.

hm... I found the 4000 to be a bit too big, although I haven't added weights to the top yet. I'll try a few things out before I sell it

Definitely add weights to it. In my experience a tiny camera on a HD4000 with a bunch of weights added is much better than using a HD2000, with or without weights. In fact I sold my HD2000 to upgrade to a HD4000 for that very reason.

word, I'll definitely do that then. I had washers tied to the top at first but maybe I'll invest in the plates. Thank you!

I found the hd-1000 to be just about perfect for the gh2. Small but all metal at a type quick release, gh2 (obviously), rokinon 7.5mm, rode videomic (Classic) with a deadcat on a mini ball head (but no shock mount). 2 second drop and I still had room for more weight on top if needed. I could see hd-2000 working well, but you would need a full rig and probably extra weight on top for the 4000.

The HD2000 technically accommodates the correct payload rage for a bare-bones DSLR/MFT setup. The problem is that the net weight of an HD2000 rig is too small to use reliably in high-pressure settings, in my experience. Not that it can't be done; I've gotten gorgeous results from my HD2000. But an HD4000, which is complete overkill for a GH2 (and won't even balance without adding some weight to the camera), is a MUCH easier system to use. Again, heavier = easier. The simple solution, of course, is to simply add weights to the mounting plate to compensate for the small camera. It's a win-win solution as far as I'm concerned.
