ok so i was checking out these skis and the edge thickness on both of these skis was 3.5mm?? is this a type-o or why do are these powder skis have such a thick edge? wouldnt that make them super heavy? most park/normal skis are 2.5 mm or under. so whats the deal with the 3.5mm edges?

They're both K2 so they probably wouldn't be light even with a skinnier edge.

That just means they're very durable, but that comes with a price and that price is weight.
