Replying to Tech nerds- off the grid problem
Looking for the easiest way to somehow get cell service / wifi off the grid.
Will be in the adirondacks (heavy trees) at our place. Nearest public wifi is a mile away and nearest cell service from my carrier is ~30miles, although for my parents on AT&T there is weak cell service a mile away. We're off a pretty remote road and our driveway is 1/2 a mile long so normal wifi is out of the question.
I've heard of some hacks with satellite dishes, high power antennas etc for fixing these problems but I'm pretty out of my comfort zone and have no idea what im talking about. has anyone messed around with this stuff before?
Thanks
