Focusing on goals

Has anyone ever written the tricks they want to do on their skis then crossed them off as they did them, i feel like it would be a good way to stay focused. and then if you dont do them, every time you look down you are reminded you suck.

Might do that this summer at hood, last summer I didnt improve much at all. Definitely seems like itd make me try more tricks.

Have a thread at the start of the season where everyone posts the tricks that they commit to learning by the end of the season/summer. Then at the end of the season/summer they will post their results of whether or not they landed them.

If they didnt then all of the NSers participating in the thread rate the user 0/10 and pm him that he sucks balls. If he succeeds then everyone replies to his comment with approving clapping .gifs.

Itll be the NS Commit2Commit thread where everyone commits to commiting the tricks.

try making a note on your phone of all the tricks and then screenshot it and make it your wallpaper. i do that and it reminds me

I read an interview with TJ Schiller and he used to do this apparently. Made a list each season and checked them all off

I do it on occasion. i like having a piece of chicken scratch in my pocket. (or real chicken, but that's irrelevant)

i find that i just keep on trying the same tricks if i don't set out to learn new stuff. it's really helped over the last two years. heck, in January 2013, going through all my god awful helmet cam footy made me realize that I only had 5 tricks in the bag.

Also if someone doesnt post a vid of them doing it, on a predetermined date at the end of the season autorape ensues.

At the beginning of the season I normally have a trick in mind that I really focus on learning or trying. This past season it was learning a backflip, and next season will be flatspin.
