If you catch yourself a swamp donkey, make sure you put lots and lots of pictures of it because I swamp donkey is worth seeing for sure. COME OOOOOOOON FRENCHY!
Well, just met up with some guy that I met thru Fishing in Connecticut facebook group. hes a tournament fisherman and we just both caught some bass this size! nothing huge
So this facebook group i'm in called CT Fishing is holding a contest starting tomorrow where you upload a video of fishing within the past year, so I just went looking through my ice fishing GoPro clips because I Have a TON of troll clips of weird shit happening on the ice, hopefully I picked the right video. All you win is a fishing CT t-shirt so i wont care too much if I dont win

I used to live on a little couple acre lake in Washington absolutely FULL of bullfrogs. They are fiesty little fucks. I used to sit on my deck and hang down a little silver spoon or spinner and dangle it in front of the frogs until they'd hit it. One time on accident tho I casted over a little branch and as I pulled it up and over the branch that was floating on the water I hooked in to the biggest damn frog I've ever seen. legs stretched out to tip of snout it was at least 18", if you put two hands in to fists and put them together it was about that wide and like 10" long body. Fucking massive it looked like some swamp toad or some shit.
Side note anyone ever do any frog giggin'? Loved going out late at night with the spear and a can of dip with my buds when I was like 13-15 before I moved off the lake

Lol me and my buddy were testing out a pond and it was DENSE with lily pads and couldnt see how deep. it became obvious there were no bass. TONs of big bullfrogs tho... i might go back and use a smaller weedless frog and bring the frogs home to eat.
but its oka there was another pond down the road we tried out and i caught 5 bass all between .9-1.5 pounds. nobody else caught shit hahhaha

also any worm out there should be good in heavy cover, try to cast in pockets where there arent as many weeds.
Just got back from fishing a new spot with the guy I met thru that CT Fishing facebook page. He's a pretty damn good tournament bass fisherman, we both killed it but I won ; )
went to a new place, got 4 lmbs, nothin too huge, but a great time. had a few sodas. found a wall in the middle of nowhere, bout 10-12ft. tossed some backies. good day.

That sounds sick, I also went to a new spot with a friend, he got skunked, I caught a 1 lb largie and a 2.25 LM/SM hybrid, the pics look pretty sick

such a good day. followed by some hole-in-the-wall mexican restaurant with great margs. best thing was, my aunt gave me a new boat (her old 18yo 13ft rowboat with a 3hp motor from 1972 lol), all decked out in a camo paint job. first day out with her. just need to install some cup holders for my beer haha
