Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

Safeway seems more disgusting and unhelpful all the time. Ended up abandoning my cart just now because I was waiting forever and ran out of time to make the transaction on my lunch break. The cart and everything in the store seemed like it had grime on it. Just trying to cherry pick a couple of sales but it's almost not worth it to even try anymore.

The safeway is the cleanest/nicest store in my town but has like 3 registers and 4 self checks so takes forever to check out

The one closest to my work is gross and has not self checks. The one closest to my home has birds that live inside the store. A whole family of birds and they've been living in the store since like 2007. When it's crowded they only staff a few checkers and the lines pile up. Late at night I've been there when all the registers are closed and there is no way to buy anything without flagging down someone from the back room. I need to break the habit of going there because besides the sales everything is more expensive than the upscale Roth's where everything is clean and they staff lots of checkers that actually smile.

I also hated the shift in 09 ish maybe where everyone was starting to build up these pages to post stupid shit for dumb people to share.

And now facebook started doing the thing where your news feed is full of stuff that people simply liked or commented on, as if 99% of that is relevant.

Oh yeah but facebook has it's "top secret algorithm" they won't share.

AKA, If you accept a friend request you're obviously best friends and will see everything they post 3 a time even until you unfollow them. Also, you commented on somebodies post 1 time. Clearly you're best friends and will see everything they post from now on.

Man, I'm sure everyone really want's to get their hands on that amazing formula.

Word. I still have one but mostly because I'm terrible with cell phones and need to let people know when I inevitably lose it in the snow or smash the screen. Not gonna lie I'm a sucker for a hilarious meme though. I thought it was weird being sort of an "internet guy" lurking on forums and such when memes started popping up on social media and not just forums lol.

Memes are fine but I hate people that just share stop that's posted to be shared. Also the page names of everything for a while were super retarded.

Bob shared "Hot pickle farmers from northwest alabama" 's picture. Idk I can't even think of stuff as ridiculous as they were.

I keep unfollowing but it's still taking forever to weed out the bullshit.
I use it to network and find peopl to chill with/places to stay when I travel. Also people want me to post pictures so I try to post some pictures on there for people.

Facebook had like 1 year where it was pretty solid. mid 07-08 ish. When it started to get more popular but peoples creepy parents weren't trying to add you.

I can't believe how many of my little brother's friends are prescribed adderall, it's actually insane. I take it every once in a while to help with studying but I always feel pretty shitty afterwards, and I just can't believe these 12 year olds are taking it every day. I get that some of them probably have ADHD but come on, they're just kids, and I feel like its not fair to be messing with their brain like that at such a young age. I feel like now its just acceptable if you have a middle school aged kid now that's kind of annoying (just like all fucking middle schoolers ever) you can just get them an adderall prescription to mellow them out. Imo that's fucked.

So last night someone's car alarm was going off in our back parking lot. I made a status complaining about it. My roommate comments this morning and says it's her car and the plow guy hit it and that her bumper was damaged. But the car wasn't her car (i looked out my window last night and saw the car with its lights flashing and it wasn't hers). I looked outside today and her car is not damaged at all. Her car is also on the street and the car going off was in the back parking lot... lololol.

I realize this is stupid to get irritated about but I'm at the point where everything she does pisses me off. That's also just a stupid thing to joke/lie about hahahaha.

The neighbors that just bought the house next to the one I bought were snowblowing at 4 am. I know you probably gotta work and it snows a lot in leadville but have some fucking common decency like maybe just shovel when everyone is sleeping and snow blow at a more common time. And the light on that fucker shines right at our bedroom window. Nice people but for Fucks Sake.

Another fucking roommate rant because I don't get how people are so godamn lazy.
My bf's roommate is mind blowingly dumb sometimes. Sure, she has a job so she doesn't have endless amounts of time... But I have a job and am in law school, my bf has a real job and then spends his spare time working on the house, and yet we still magically have more time than her to clean because her spare time is spent watching netflix and taking naps. While I don't mind putting in the extra effort to clean the shared parts of the house, seeing as how my bf owns the place and she just rents a room, the least she could fucking do is show some respect and lend a hand on the most BASIC shit. See the recycling is getting full- how about instead of balancing your stupid muffin container on the top you take it out on the way to your car? Using peanut butter, syrup, or jelly- how about not leaving trails of it all over the clean kitchen? Want to use our pan to cook your eggs- how about you actually CLEAN it before putting it in the drying rack rather than leaving it greasier than a cheeseburger and calling it a day? We've already had to talk to you about this, how is it that fucking difficult to remember

Woooooooww. Held a 97% test/participation grade in this class but my group did such a fucking shitty job on our project that I only ended up with a B+ in this class. Are you fucking kidding me? What a load of fucking bullshit. "Everyone gets the same grade for the project because in the real world your team will either succeed or fail." Fucking cool. Good thing this isn't the real world and in the real world I wont be working for a company that hires lazy pieces of shit who don't care about anything and if they do they get fired. Seriously so fucking stupid.

I did 80% of the project on my own, even got them a fucking extension to finish up 20% of it between the 5 of them and they couldn't fucking handle it so now we all got shitty grades. I did the entire presentation practically by myself other than saying their names for them. Fuck this shit.

I mean, I get it. It forces you to work together and when that actually does happen, the same grade all around does make a lot of sense. I get that sometimes you'll work with people that are not easily compatible. However, this wasn't the case. They simply didn't fucking do anything. It's unacceptable. I appreciate what the lesson is supposed to be but this is straight bullshit for me haha.

I've been thinking this all day. My friends have been trying to get me into Kodak Black or Lil Uzi or some shit. I just don't get it. Call me old but where the fuck did the art go? It just seems like if you mumble over a snare drum and tweak your voice with auto-tune then you got a hit song. Oh and make sure you talk about how gangster you are and how many xannys you take. I was trying my best to listen to a soundcloud playlist my friend made for me and every song I listened to just made me more and more pissed off. I miss the actual rap where you actually wrote several bars that all had a deep meaning or had a funny punch-line. Then said them on beat with different flows.
I also say this while listening to Diablo by Mac Miller. Sooooo....

Work just gives me a fucked schedule now. 2 days off, then work a day, day off, then just fuck me with early shifts unloading the truck and stocking while working the busiest days all day Saturday and a little Sunday. Shouldn't have Monday and Tuesday off like always

The owner of my home ski hill is making me sick to my stomach. $80 lift tickets are unacceptable in the Midwest. Dude keeps changing the terrain and closing chairlifts for no reason. None of the existing chairlifts can stay running consistently and the hill is severely understaffed because he won't pay liftees more than $7.50 an hour.

Charles Skinner can eat me, fucking bitch. Ruining what was once a great hill. If I could just get my hands on that old bastard I would strangle him. I'm so upset.

A lot of hills in the midwest from experience have super old lifts that are prone to breaking down. Interested to see what vail did with wilmont cause they pretty much always have atleast 2 lifts down.

I can only speak for my hill, but the reason our lifts haven't been updated is because there is no reason for a high speed lift on a 400 foot hill. It's just not feasible/necessary. So they keep the old lifts. I'm going to guess there's a similar mentality for the small Midwest hills as well.
