_faaaThanks mate!
Same here, I dont care about the her or my private room. My room is messy too, but where I m cooking and or wanna CLEAN myself it should be clean. You aren t eating out of trash cans, that s why you are making food in a dirty kitchen with raw meat and other indefinable stuff in the sink! When I showered I dont wanna step out in a junkyard either.
Yeah for sure. Nasty shower are gnar as well. I want to be able to step in the shower and come out feeling cleaner than i went in. Is that too much to ask?
_faaafuck thats disgusting. How long did you have to live with them?
Old dirty water in the sink mixed with food, coffee and other stuff is the worst. Didnt seem it bothered your roomies eh? haha. I remember cleaning a microwave that wasnt cleaned like a year or so. That took more effort and money than having a girl/boyfriend. Nasty!!
About 4 months. Idk what the fuck they were eating but the oily congealing mess of liquid in the sink was almost impressive. And nah, they loved it. The good life. The dirty microwave seems to be the classic. People blow up a plate of food and don't clean. It takes like 2 seconds when it's fresh. Just do it people ugh.
_faaayeah thats what I am doing now too. I clean my plates, forks, cups and so and put her stuff in a basket and let it rot in there. Maybe talking to the landlady will help, because it doesnt seem she wanna help. Not a bad idea, thanks!
Yeah dude. Only way to live. I'm pretty crazy about my utensils and plates. Like I'll rewash stuff before using it if I don't believe in the persons cleaning habits who washed them.
Not that it made much of a difference with her talking to them, but we were living in a house connected to a house. So it was kind of like their home too in a sense. I mean they had their own half of the house and there was a big locked fire door in between, but it was still connected. So she was more likely to care. Also a super nice lady.
A lot of landlords would be like lol, I got your money, get fucked.
_faaaYeah I cant understand how people like her or your roomies do not seem to realize that the whole appartment turns into a junkyard. From Thrusday on I wore shoes in the kitchen, cause of the dirt. lol
YEah I HATE that. When you can't even walk barefoot in your fucking house without feeling gross.
_faaaA year. I moved in at the beginning of my semester and the contract is officially 2 years, but we can shorten the contract to one year if I tell her in the first 8 month that I wanna move out earlier. Hard 8 month to come, but I am looking forward to move out :D
Bummer. Make a 217 days till I can move away from this nasty bitch calendar or something. Sucks you can't break the lease though. That's the shitty thing about leases and roomates you aren't super tight with.
I'm a people person, I'm pretty mellow and easy to deal with but jesus fuck, clean up at least a little bit.
Oh shit. Our ht water came from a wood burning stove. We had a themometer to measure the boiler. At a certain temp you were getting risky, below that you might lather up for a glacial shower to leave you more hypothermic than clean.
Anyway they would shower for a while or run hot water in the kitchen, but never start the fire or bring in wood. So you'd come home from working all day tired as shit and have to go out in the dark to bring in wood. Light a fire, wait for the heat to rise and then finally take a shower if you didn't pass out first.
Even better if you decided to shower in the morning. I tried never to risk this because a couple times I really needed a shower. Figured I'd grab one quick in the morning. Temp was at iceberg status. No fire, no wood, no time for that shit. F UUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Jesus, I had a lot of anger repressed from that summer I guess lol.
Does your roomie have any redeeming qualities that cancel out some of the shitty stuff?
She makes you food, sucks your dick, gets you a free pass to a ski area, does your homework. Anything?
