We haven't officially stopped working on my visa for Austria but it's looking so bleak at this point it's time to start. I emailed my boss yesterday and we're going to chat this week and figure it out. Either a miracle happens in the next few days or we're going to have to both make other plans.

Honestly would be pretty fucking gutted to lose a chance to work for schneestern because the austrian government hires shitty people.

Obviously I'm hoping it somehow works out, but if not, I hope I'll be able to still find a good job somewhere. My luck at finding good jobs has been pretty rough. I've also turned down or skipped over some of the best options to wait for this job.

Not an epic situation.

Hopefully I can get in a cat somewhere or maybe snag a job in one of the better parks. Def not trying to work day crew at some beat mountain at this point though.

.MASSHOLE.Best news is foreign news. Read the BBC, FT, The Guardian, Times of India, etc. You get a better picture of US events, they don't feed you as much bullshit.

brotoBest news IMO is reading a wide range of news from sources all over the political spectrum. Bias is always apparent in news and that's okay if you understand that it's there and account for it. It's generally easy to get a good idea of what's bullshit and what isn't when you get news from a variety of sources or an aggregate news site.

I would much, much, much rather be uneducated and ignorant than be under the impression that I know something because of a source such as buzzfeed, huff post, AJ+, occupy democrats, whatever bullshit republican equivalents, etc. and unfortunately about 95% of the people I interact with fall into this category.

Its gonna start hurting my bonuses eventually and make me look bad when it comes down to the tools being fucking field test. How the hell should I be responsible for shit that hasn't even been cleared for sale to customers and is still under experimentation.
Should have been an easy 2 grand bonus today and I got fucked after working my ass off for the last two days. I hate to be the guy calling the manager at 3am informing him that we're having problems at site but I get left with no other option.
This stress is stupid and unnessary and I can't wait to go to the 2-1 schedule. Now I just need to keep hitting big jobs on holidays and hopefully can vacation all my time off.
