safarisamI went to a bonfire last night, and apparently I didn't dress country enough for them. I farm, I ranch, hell I grew up on a cattle ranch!! But apparently dressing. County is what seals the deal not actual experience.
Imo people on the country side are more superficial or care about your look than you d expect.
I experienced something similar a while ago at a bonfire in a friend's garden. I wore my touring midlayer (some flashy coloured patagonia stuff) and most of the guys there judged about my personality and origin before we even talked.
I found that out after I got into a conversation with them haha.
"Clothes make the man" right?
