I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

oh man, number 1 biggest gripe with having to attend class at a campus is the amount of pieces of shit that have absolutely zero respect for their surroundings or the people that are in them. a nice quiet area in the library suddenly ruined because chadbro here wants to talk to his slutty girlfriend on the phone with both headphones in. great, let us kids that actually give a damn about our educations and want to work hard do our thing without you fuckin dildoes mucking it up.


im all for cutting back on my own emissions with carpooling/ski bussing but its bullshit that the state is doing absolutely nothing to cut back on all the great toxic fumes the oil refineries in the valley spew out constantly. Money talks and bullshit walks, I guess. Fuck these old-ass money grubbing Mormons at the capital.

This. Fucking this. It's absurd they aren't being held accountable for endangering the lives of millions of people every year. Every inversion I am reminded of what spineless pieces of shit govern utah. That shit accounts for 1/3 of what's in the air. Thats a big percentage to have of pollution and no one is doing shit about it. Not to mention how much of an eyesore it is to see a nasty looking factory with plumes of smoke coming out of it in the valley. I say tax the fuck out of them and see what happens

I swear to god the next time someone says "you drive a jeep you'll be fine" in regards to driving in the snow in going to freak out. Like yes, my car does above average in the snow but that doesn't mean other people have good cars or that they aren't idiots. And just because I have a good car doesn't mean shit when visibility is bad. Like are people really that naïve?

And fuck people who think that because they have a "good" car they think they can go fast and be reckless. Its those kinds of people who lost control cause accidents and it's annoying.

I see more 4x4s, trucks, jeeps, and even subarus off the road during storms than I do FWD hondas and other small sedans. I swear people assume if all 4 wheels have power then they are invincible.


On another note, it fucking down poured across the northeast yesterday. As if Massachusetts vacation week wasn't bad enough now we don't even have any snow left and everything is a sheet of ice.

I know a lot of times, like the Coors factory in Colorado, it is cheaper to pay the EPA fines for dumping waste etc..than to retrofit facilities to better dispose of it. Pretty fucked.

one time my buddy and i were flying to peru and he was the one that booked that tickets, the dude realized while booking the tickets that he doesnt know how to spell my last name, and i didnt call him back in time while he was doing the booking so instead of just guessing he puts "bosnia" as my last name, like that would be better. anyways, our airline was super-not-chill about changing my name or changing the ticket to my name or helping in any way possible so we had to cancel the ticket completely and re-book me a flight and i ended up stuck in panama for awhile on the way out which was... honestly... not really so bad.

but on the way back i got into miami international at like 2am or some shit and the international terminal was closed and i had to leave but couldnt get back in till like 6 the next morning and it was freezing fucking cold in the airport so i just slept on a bench outside for the night in miami that wasnt really that bad either.



anyways i know a lot of newschoolers might not know about owning a home in a flood risk zone but i just wanted to say fuck flood risk zones and fuck fucking lame ass flood insurance i hate that shit i hate paying for it i dont even live near any fucking water.

fuck corporate reps. i get that your job is to come in and tell us what we're doing wrong... i do. but instead of just shitting on us, why don't you try telling us how to improve?

"the sandwich wasn't very good" isn't helpful. "the sandwich wasn;t very good because x, try doing this next time" is what i want. granted i now realize i should've asked what made it subpar, but IMO i shouldn't have to, when your job is to tell us how to improve.

also, i get that you want us to move away from using bleach to clean and start using something safer around food... but we have 30 one gallon bottles of bleach. what do you want us to do? are you gonna reimburse us? bleach isn't the most expensive thing on the planet- but it still costs money.

to top it all off... this was my first time meeting our corporate rep (i met a guy for a different franchise that filled in for him for one day), and i'm the newest manager... so i want to make a good impression. but how can i do that when you don't even focus on what i do? when you just make your mind up on me as a person based on what our store looks like. lastly- i get that you want us to sample food, and it helps bring in customers when the mall is busy. but when there's a finite amount of people in the food court, and all of those people either already have food or are just walking by and not getting food at all.. us sampling isn't gonna do fuck all. us sampling isn't gonna bring people from the other end of the mall into the foodcourt to come eat. us sampling isn't gonna get people that aren't hungry to eat. us sampling isn't gonna get people that already have food from somewhere else to throw that out and buy our food. fuck.

bonus- when i can interact with you for five minutes and already know exactly what i think of you as a person, that's not a good thing.

Fuck. It's like they've never worked at a lower position and they expect everything. Which I guess isn't totally bad but it's annoying. At least for us, they're up on their high horses and can't do anything. They don't return phone calls or emails and are unwilling to worth with us. But they're the first person to bitch and point fingers when something goes wrong.

On top of that when we do events and stuff, only 2 of the 6 people we are in direct communication with have ever skied so working in the fuckin ski industry is just like so obscure for them. It's so frustrating. They don't get it and I hate them.

Granted they know their shit when it comes to money. I just wish they were a little bit more creative with how they handled stuff. You can tell they used to work for major corporations and have no idea how the ski industry really works. They're just in it for money so it blows.

yeah thankfully there were no real complaints about staff, it was all about cleanliness and stuff in the back room. my biggest frustration though was we had like one of those big flat plastic milk crates as a drying rack for dishes... well apparently thats not cool so they threw it out and told us to get a metal one. fine. but at least let us keep it until we get a metal one? instead of my having to stack dishes on the prep table to dry now theres fucking water on there and because of food safety regs when i went to cut some lettuce, i couldn't do it there because of the water. wtf

I might actually send a really long, shitty email to my professor for being an absolute moron.

We had an assignment to write an article summary basically. All the instructions were in the syllabus. My article met every single requirement listed and my summary matched the format and style of the examples and met every requirement. Literally was perfect.

But for whatever fucking reason she won't accept it because it's not a "scholarly journal." WELL BITCH IF YOU WANTED ME TO SUMMARIZE A SCHOLARLY JOURNAL MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE FUCKING SAID THAT IN THE SYLLABUS. The syllabus says "A summary is a brief description of a book, article, or other publication that summarizes and characterizes the publication in such a way that the reader can decide whether or not to read the complete work. Your article must be at least two pages in length, copyrighted after 2004 and be of importance to your area of study."

So I called her out on it saying that it met all of those requirements and since that was the only information given about the assignment, mine should be acceptable. But no apparently she forgot to leave out the fact that it had to be from a "scholarly journal."

It's an online class so everything is online with no lecture. You read a book and answer questions. So she literally does nothing and all we have is the syllabus to figure stuff out from. She said back to me "There are sample assignments in the folder titled Additional Resources. This does not meat(yes she really said meat) the requirements." BUT MINE IS FUCKING THE SAME STYLE AND FORMAT. Which doesn't even answer my question of where to find the words "scholarly journal" anywhere in the syllabus. I even used the search thing on word and nothing came up. I used it for every file we have for that class and not a thing came up.

Literally how do you fuck up that bad? The median grade is a 0(meaning more than half of us didn't do it right/didn't do it at all) and the average was like a 30 for a pass/fail assignment haha. Like howwwww do you fuck up that bad and still not take blame for it? I turned this shit in two weeks early, she couldn't have said anything before? Like what the actual fuck.

It is devastating. Extremely out of control and IMO one of the worst problems facing our country today.

I have written a 13 page essay on the reformation of America's drug policies and seen and experienced the extent of the damage due to overissuance and under regulation of prescription narcotics as well as over regulation and restriction of illegal narcotics. It is a terrible cyclic industry. I despise it with every fiber of my existence.

People who refuse to believe mental illnesses are a real threat to someone's life piss me off. There's a girl in my ski town that we all have to look out for because she's tried to kill herself so many times. We've tried to get her parents to make her go home but they aren't getting it and it just makes me angry sad.

I've seen depression and mental issues become fatal more than a few times. Good to recognize that but also remember not to beat yourself up about it. Sometimes I think it is like really bad cancer and there is nothing anyone can do.

My oven stopped working. Scares me too because I smell gas when I turn it on. Just seems like it isn't lighting. It is an ugly ass Magic Chef that came with the house and we have had to light the range with a bic for years. Legit cancelled everything I had with them because of the phone calls. They called me 2x per day for like 3 weeks because of domain names. Took so long to sort it out. Never again will I go through them.

My rant is I'm angry I didn't get pussy last night. Luckily all the drinks I bought were free with my sports book bet tix.

Anyways I sit down next to 3 girls a little older than me around 11. One was located her friends are visiting. The friends go to their room. It's clear I'm in with the local chick. Only a 5 but bangable. Anyways she starts making out with me. After make out i go for a piss. Not gone 5 mins and some dude has sat down to her left.

So I didn't push the issue about leaving together. Fast forward an hour she goes to piss I dont have my phone and when she's back I'm like I didn't give u my number take it. So it is looking like I'm going to have to buy a new oven/range. The one I have now seems pretty old to sink money into for a repair. I want a dual fuel range but probably can't spring for that so I will probably end up with another gas oven. Gotta figure this out fairly soon. My wife told me she just made cookie dough and put in in the freezer since our oven is dead.
