WoFlowzthe thing is i’ve offered to venmo them etc. idrky they think it’s easier to just put everything on a tab and have one person pay. Maybe if it’s not your money it is but like for me it’s not. Most of them i’m decently close with and I don’t think they’d care. I mean i’m the only first year on the entire team with a job at school. Some of the kids have never even worked a day in their life. We’re all quite well off but these kids r a different level of wealthy. I could always just make sure we all get slammed pre gaming so tabs aren’t as high. But at the same time it would be fair to pay after they’ve payed for me, but our drinking habits/alcohol tolerances are very diff.
TOAST.I kinda feel bad for flowz on this one. He got peer pressured into joining a stupid system and now is kinda fucked. Only way out is to pay this week and then stop being part of it and buy your own drinks from now on.
Really dumb system they are doing that only works if nobody cares about money at all or if everyone always drinks roughly the same amount.

Paying for this week and then bowing out seems like the ultimate way to save grace if a. he can afford it and b. he actually has a card. Not sure about a. but I'm pretty sure he said he does not have b. Parents card is a no go. Debit card is risky if a. is at all questionable because the bar tab is enough without overdraft fees.
As embarrassing as it will feel I'd just say yo no card I don't have any sort of credit card this weekend I want to pay you all back with cash and then I have to pay my own way with cash tonight. or, if that is too confusing then be like tonight our tab is cash I'm giving the bartender $500 (or whatever you think is generously fair) and tell your friends and the bartender to keep the drinks under $420 so they get a tip. Then be like I'm out after tonight since I don't have a card
