Dude yes 100% get off stimulants. I liked them too much and saw the writing on the wall. Actively dropped them at 21 despite my adhd and loving the feeling. They are AWFUL for you. I keep trying to tell my sister to get off them but she just will say “yeah” and then puts her blinders back on. You’re still taking them?
My buddy got on blood pressure medicine at 30. Told me it was gemetic. Later learned he doesn’t sleep enough, mainlines caffeine, was a heavy alcoholic, takes a bunch of nicotine and smokes weed. So yeah maybe some was genetic but he was definitely not helping himself.
GayWolf420Pretty active honestly, between working a lot outside, riding my bike here and there, going on hikes, (manual labor jobs/working on the mountain and skiing 5-6 days a week). It's just that my BP was fairly high during my check up for other stuff. I'm glad my doc caught it. Hypertension runs in my dad's side of the family. It is also mostly dude to trying an alternative method for treating ADD. I've been taking stimulants most of my life and there's been some good research done lately with high blood pressure having a correlation to ADD
