ColoradoDogfart11 credits is criminal especially as a freshman when your just taking gen Ed’s. It would take you close to 6 years to grad if you kept that pace lmao
like how tf does this lady have a job? I feel like I should be taking atleast 12-18 probably more like 15? Three credits are a Fsem for god sake. Also highkey pissed my college pre calc and intro calc transferred and exempted me from Pre Calc there but I scored 1 pt to low on the Calc entry exam to take it. So now I have to wait for second semester Pre Calc because even tho the registrars office thinks I’m ready for Calc. The 19/30 and not 20/30 is telling the math department otherwise? like sorry I was told to take a proctored test with no warning, studying or anything but pen and paper. No Calculator or anything. But some fuckwr in the math department says they won’t make an exception even tho my athletic advisor, and dean are trying to get me into calc so I can get another 4 credits and fill the massive gap in my schedule.
legit insane to me my parents can be paying this much for school. Just to be waitlisted, unable to enroll, or have classes full needed for a major or minor Pre Requisite. So they have me taking fluff classes, partially because My Biology, Microbio, Chem, Comp Sci credits all had labs and transferred along with english and Environmental sciences. So there’s a lot of Gen Ed’s I have the credits for, so no point in taking again is what i’m told. But if I can’t get into Stats, Calc, Genetics, or Econ Principles like what am I there for? Some fun expensive electives? I wanted to take some intro/elective classes to consider other careers like genetics, health, architecture etc but if I can’t get into those because you offer zero courses and have waitlists long enough to create a second class it’s pretty pointless. Imo if a waitlist is 15 kids for a class capped at 25, there should be a second class offered due to the demand and how much people pay for school.
