Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

partyandBSwent to a backyard olympics with my maybe gf and we fucked that shit up and tied for first overall but lost the tie breaker. nothing wrong silver!

also went to church for the first time in 15+ years. i went in with curiosity and an open mind but i still have my reservations on it.

also, saw this guy at backyard olympics and then at the church and he was like wow you went back to the mountains and here? thats far. and thats when i realized staying the night at my girls house is absolutely frowned upon in this friend group. i met a couple that is getting married in the fall and they haven’t slept in the same bed ever.

its a lot different than anything ive grown up in or been around. these are for sure extremely nice people with good intentions for the most part. definitely a few barriers between me and accepting any religion as a singular truth but glad im finally actually exploring things.


What color is the kool-aid? How does it taste?

I don't know anything about your situation but getting into religion to get a girl sounds like a terrible idea.

they gave out wine and crackers. they had gluten free and nonalcoholic options lol. but I didn’t have any. it wasn’t catholic church but seemed close. they never asked for money though which surprised me

ive been hanging out with her since december and dating her since late may/early june. so im not getting into a religion to get a girl. but also absolutely wouldn’t have been there if it wasn’t for her. im curious about religion/spirituality lately before dating her so this was good to make me actually go. still have a lot of reservations towards it though

In my experience stuff like alcohol and hard shit is more problematic than weed. Idk. Never been around hardcore users, mostly the social kind.

As long as she's aware of where you're at and that you may never be where she's at I don't see it as a problem. Definitely an important thing to be open about as relationships progress.

Definitely not problematic, but still hanging with some stoner friends is wack. But also more on the person rather than weed itself, weed just amplifies it.

One of the dogs bit me while playing and it wasn’t a play bite it was a bite bite. I have mouthy dogs and am used to a lack of bit inhibition but frig I’m sad he has to go on bite quarantine.

Umm... that is really dangerous. Yeah, you might be used your dog's biting but what the fuck are you going to do when you take them to a park or something and they decide a toddler looks like a good chew toy? You need to train out this habit right fucking now.

lol no he’s going to be euthanized for aggression. I literally work with the aggressive dogs for a living and determine wether or not they’re candidates for rehabilitation.

Landlord makes me pay all of my rent through friends and family Venmo and told me not to put “rent” in the title when I pay, now when I request to get my deposit back she says it needs to go through an accountant first and it can only be sent through a mailed check that’s going to take a month to get to me????

i’m actually having an amazing wednesday! I got coffee, got payed my last two paychecks, walked my dog and got her a puppy cone. Completed me medical forms for college, arranged my finances for paying my tuition since I got the bill today. Well parents finances and paying with my routing number, and made Henley Semi finals in my lwt double! Got chipotle for lunch, have had no problem making weight, now i’m partying at my friends lake house and get to wake up at 4:00am to go for a team sweat run before weigh ins. Which fuckin sucks but i should be all good cause I trained in our lwt 4- this evening also, but it’s more about suffering as a team tmr morning than an individual. Still fuckin sucks

We are allergic to money I'm afraid, part of being indy and core now.

But for real, we are still getting the store/PayPal, etc reset after the transition. It will open again soon-ish we hope, and definitely after the summer, but I can't give you anything more definite than that. If you have to have it now, we can probably figure out a way!
