Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

For sure, at least it's not locked up abroad level shit. I only spent a few hours in jail, and I have to sort some shit out but otherwise okay. Could be a lot worse. I remember before Thailand legalized weed some guy was trying to sell me weed and opium. Could have been legit. But smelled wrong and sketched me out. Was like fuck this I'm not getting locked up in a foreign country.

I mean at least for all my travels worst things that have happened were 1. getting drugged and robbed in Tanzania in 2016. 2. Taking a chunk out of my leg dirtbiking in rural rural Vietnam, almost losing my leg and spending 2 weeks in the hospital and many months healing. 3. This prolly.

Obviously sounds bad but man, I've been to a lot of cool places so shit happens. Just def freaks you out a little in the moment. When you aren't in charge and basically have no options. Shits pretty humbling. But yeah not too bad at least!

Hopefully your travels go better than mine!

Ya I mean for ems I don’t really get it. As long as you’ve taken the needing courses that provide you with the proper training then that should be good enough.

went to a backyard olympics with my maybe gf and we fucked that shit up and tied for first overall but lost the tie breaker. nothing wrong silver!

also went to church for the first time in 15+ years. i went in with curiosity and an open mind but i still have my reservations on it.

also, saw this guy at backyard olympics and then at the church and he was like wow you went back to the mountains and here? thats far. and thats when i realized staying the night at my girls house is absolutely frowned upon in this friend group. i met a couple that is getting married in the fall and they haven’t slept in the same bed ever.

its a lot different than anything ive grown up in or been around. these are for sure extremely nice people with good intentions for the most part. definitely a few barriers between me and accepting any religion as a singular truth but glad im finally actually exploring things.

Everyday life has been better than in the last few years. Skiing in the other hand was worse than in the last few years. I have been mostly alone or with my dad. Still healing my social battery from kinda toxic friend group. Still trying to find my place in new school, but that has been kinda hard. The rare few normal people are boring, they are just partying and chasing girls and the nerds are boring because they just study and play video games. But atleast I'm overall happier.
