NickSkisGoodLiving in Denver Cap Hill the parking people are always up my butt about any little thing, today they're trying to run me $100 for not having a monthly tab sticker on my registration sticker ... I've been plotting ways to get back at them like putting an "I ski in jeans" or other embarrassing bumper sticker on their enforcement jeep..

Anyone else know how I should stick it to em short of slashing their tires?

BradFiAusNzCoCaWhere do you live in Cap Hill? I don’t live far (Speer) and I have 2 extra spots if you’re ever in a pinch. Also my part of town seems to have more lax enforcement than Cap Hill.

Dlonettigenuinely tweaking about money lately. car insurance jumped $30 for no reason, agent just said it was a normal adjustment, shopping around to try to get a better rate. have to get an oil change and tire rotation this weekend and know its gonna be spendy, I should really figure out how to do it myself/find someone who can. Feels like I need to be working 2 jobs minimum to be able to afford anything

HypeBeastMy cat is dying and his GI tract is part of the issue. Literally not absorbing any nutrients. He took a shit the last two days that cleared out the entire first floor of my house, not kidding. I had to open the screen door, windows, and spray febreeze. So over cats especially this one who refuses to cover his shit

nmwninjartMine seems to go up every time.
My water/sewer bill went up this quarter even with less use than last quarter. Stupid inflation. But yet at work we got a whopping 2% raise which for me was a grand total of 37¢ And they say that's adequate? Not even close to match cost of living these days.

theabortionatorGroomed all of main park and get stuck rebuilding a ton of the features. I mean I could have just skipped them but it grinds my gears to see rails leaning or no that a rail needs snow pushed and has for days.

People are hyped to build but skimp on maintenance for sure sometimes. Good crew i just hate rebuilding shit you can tell has been skipped over for a while.

Still a decent night just full on. Was tired af but kept rolling and got a lot done.

It's spring so its whatever been hot and shit melts for sure. But wish people would push snow up to shit or fix the leaners more often.

HypeBeastLet me add that he's ruined 3 couches with piss (one expensive nice leather couch we were gifted), peed on my ski bag, peed on my ski pants and jacket, peed all over my basement and guest rooms to the point we have to close 75% of the doors in the house (for years), and periodically shits outside the clean litter box? Cats track litter everywhere. Doesn't cover his poop. Pees against the side of the box so it dribbles down the outside. Is always on the counters and tries to get into cupboards for food. Almost killed my dog 3 separate times by knocking stuff down for him to eat. Eats all my house plants and succulents. And is an expensive vet bill to reveal absolutely nothing...

I don't mind cats but IF I ever have another, it will be indoor/outdoor or strictly outdoor.


My dog is an ass too tho. He killed my European Weeping Beech when he was a puppy. Haven't been able to find one since.

Edit: I grew up with cats and I swear at the end of their lives they find a way to make you hate them. One cat would vomit on my bed every morning. Another shit in my closet. Cats are trippy af but damn are they dirty.

SofaKingSicki didn't hear you say you'll look past the issues and be a caring owner. the cat doesn't do things to piss you off on purpose man it's a cat and you're responsible for it. i know it can be frustrating but you're an adult you can handle it and be caring

It is really funny though because there is such a difference in the women that made this their career from the get go, (they're super chill 99%) of the time.....and the nursing school dropouts/fired or retired nurses. The latter are always the drama queens starting shit like they are in high school still.

It's honestly pretty funny/just so cringe to watch from the outside. Super happy my team is actually mature and I don't see this much on the day to day.
