The whole never being in the office thing going at work is just not working for me. A lot of items not being discussed which means key deadlines are being missed and I’m waiting on answers to finish my stuff. Gotta schedule meetings a week out for things that would normally just come up in conversation if people were actually ever here. I’m just sitting here feeling lost in the middle of it.

That's the worst. I am so glad I graduated before chatGPT was a thing. It's so annoying when people cheat and don't seem to feel guilty about it at all. It's like be proud of the work you do or cheat but feel some shame. People are shameless though.

A tangent about shamelessness. The other day at big sky, it was pretty cold and windy. I was waiting at the top of a main lift for friends and I watched a snowboarder in a crop top, on her knees, doing the dumbest fucking dance thing with her arms for The Tok. She has to be freezing, looked so out of place in her athleisure clothes and rental goggles/helmet, total goof blocking the sign for other tourists just trying to take family pictures for like 5 minutes, and the dance wasn't even close to good. I don't like to judge people too much but that was over the top dumb. I didn't see her ride away but I can't imagine she was very good or even enjoying that day with her kit... Anything for The Tok I guess

Students who cheat the system negatively impact other students who are genuinely trying to learn because it creates false results for the instructors/curriculum and certain things may or may not be changed that other students depend on. For example, if the class average test score is good because a third of the class cheated, some students who really struggled may not receive better instruction because the instructors are not as in tune with how their teaching style is working. I know grade statistics are used by schools to determine where their resources need to go and cheating can heavily screw the stats

My threshold is about 3 days with my parents before I get squirrelly. It's only hours long if my older sisters are around. My little sister and I are close so it's rare that we get annoyed with each other.

Even going back to skiing they are cloud seeding everywhere so the pack gets fucked with rain and all these places get awful flooding in the winter.

I went to college with Nick Wright from Fox Sports and the talk show every Sunday that dude would sit in the corner of the bar watching the Chiefs and losing his ass and they were so bad they didn't get put on a decent TV so he was in the corner.

That worked out for him.

If it’s possible to cheat your way through a class it means the professor didn’t give a shit when they designed the course.

If it’s possible to cheat, then I’m going to cheat my balls off so I have more time to focus on work that I can’t cheat on/actually need to give a shit about.

I love my oldest sister to death cuz I love my niece and nephew but my middle sister is a former racer turned park skier/Flight nurse (who also was a world cup pipe skier at one point) and she's my favorite person ever to ski with

Ive noticed this thing as an entry-level EMT of two years where people almost want really bad shit to happen and its like yeah obviously we all want real-time experience but its just really strange, especially when a lot of your job as a patroller ive learned is to mitigate risks and hazards to prevent bad things from happening.

idk fuck around and find-out I guess. If you really want to be on-scene with a skier vs. tree collision that ends up being a traumatic arrest, then go for it. I just hope you have enough money for all the copays for therapy. I used to be an ER tech and some of the stuff I saw still bothers me to this day, so idk. People need to be cautious of that "two year syndrome" where you think you have it dialed when in reality its nothing but at all. Its why its called medical practice because you're constantly practicing and learning.

how the fuck am i so stupid!!!! fuck me fuck me fuck me! delta had me check my bag cause there was zero room in the over head bins, so i moved my toiletries bag which had all my asthma, allergy and psych meds in it to my backpack. Musts fell outta my backpack on the flight or something while the bag was open and under the seat. Lost all my psych meds and am gonna have the worst withdrawals. My asthma is really well controlled but i’m pretty nervous about not having daily steroids and my rescue inhaler and my face is alr puffy and sinuses fucked from losing my sinus sprays and missing my evening dose. Called phoenix sky harbor, they couldn’t do anything, deltas baggage and lost and found is closed. worst is one of my psych meds is not prescribed for people under 18 so i have samples and can’t get the prescription sent to a pharmacy here, just got the allergy ones refilled so getting those sent here will be a pain in the ass also. fuck me

Going skiing with people who don’t regularly is an exercise in patience. Skiing is fricken process for some. I get to the hip and takes less than five minutes to be ready, others take an hour just because they don’t have any system in place to manage themselves and their gear. If they need rentals, it’s hopeless.

My boyfriend wants me to apologize to his good friends wife for cancelling plans on her and severely pissing her off (mind you, she cancels plans on us constantly). But after she freaked out, she blocked me on social media and posted cryptic shit about me and 2 of our mutual friends told me about it. I see her every Monday for volleyball and she doesn’t talk to me, hypes everyone up but me, and scoffs if I don’t do something perfectly. This whole thing happened months ago.


If she wasn’t such a fucking asshole who thought the world revolved around her, I’d apologize. Even though I genuinely don’t think I owe her any explanation at this point. I don’t want to be friends with someone who is going to block you and talk shit about you because they’re mad. We’re fucking adults. So yeah… don’t think I’m going to apologize again because I’ve seen her true colors and want nothing to do with her. I’d only do it for my boyfriend and I don’t know how I’d truthfully apologize without causing more shit. I could lie. But the whole situation started because she thought I lied to her. And I’m not a good liar. So if I lie… she’ll read it. But if I tell the truth, she’ll be extra pissed. Can’t win with her lol




Funny enough, as I type this, she cancelled plans for tomorrow LOL. Maybe I should throw the hissy fit this time and act like the world revolves around me 😂

Not really a rant but ita been gnarly growing up around addicition.

Seeing friends, best friends, people you slept with die. It's fucked.

But also there's people on the up and up. A bunch of friends from one group were all hooked on opiates and then heroin for a minute. They're all clean now and doing well.

Just talked to a buddy that crashed his car and got a dui. He's in rehab at the moment but clean.

Idk. Life is weird. Im glad for most people including me you dont see how fucked everything is when you're little. It's nice to believe everything is fine for a while.

Personally just starting therapy and trying to sort out my own issues and stay living.

It's hard when your good friends fuck up but also really good when they're still alive. It means a bunch.

Idk. Don't count yourself out if you're in a bad spot. Life is weird. Do the best that you can and hang in there.

Sounds like an unpublished hallmark card. Idk. Just had a lot of good friends die the last 5 years. Mostly ODs and some suicides.

Life is fucking weird. I deal with a lot of shit. Sometimes wonder how I've made it this long.

I can't do anything to change the past but I miss people. I tell my friends I love them more than I ever have. Still probably never enough but a lot.

Life is short. I don't think anyone needs to be grilled about choices and shit but just do the best you can, and tell the people you love you love them.

Shit changes fast.

Sucks if you've lost people. And if your clean or getting clean, props to you! Fuck yeah. Life is weird, but hang in there. Love you!

Ended up catching up with some family now that i have a working phone again. Got that sorted out. Talked to my aunt for a bit. Stoked she's still alive but could be any day now.

Was a long day but good catching up with her and other family. Cancer sucks.

One of my leads said some of the most lethal-shit ive heard ever before lol. He basically called out these two other new guys who, if I have to be honest, havent been skiing for more than 3 seasons, and said that they shouldn't be skiing like shit under the liftline and to not ski out of control and make some turns for once, and he's right. You do have to set some sort of a decent example. Maybe its the former freeski coach in me but good lord, I used to ski with 12 year olds that can rail turns better than some of these dudes.

And then these two fucking dorks proceeded to waste everyones time trying to find some stoner in the woods smoking when we needed to be back up top to finish our sweeps.
