yeahh! I called up all the shops in my area and they said they threw them out already. One shop is getting a shipment later in the week so I'm gonna check back. Hopefully that works out. I feel like an ass cause I told the guy I'd ship them out today but evidently that didn't go as planned. Maybe I'll just throw in a crap ton of stickers haha.

People who drive without headlights in shit weather. You= a special kind of stupid. Also props for cops going after those people instead of just sitting there jerking off waiting for somebody to set off their radar.

Also people who set speed limits ridiculously slow "because people will speed". If you set the speed limit reasonably, people generally follow it, at least much better. Obviously there will always be people driving fast, but set the fucking speed limit properly and enforce it.

Spots on interstates where it isn't crowded but they have a work zone speed for 45. 45. 45 fucking miles per hour. 3 lane road, straight, no major traffic, no curves in that section, 45?!?!?!?

And that's a speed LIMIT. Not a suggested speed, not a go slightly above this speed. So technically if you were driving correctly you would be doing 40-45. IF people did 40-45, that would cause a fucking shit show. Accidents, traffic jam(it would build up) etc.

The only reason it's 45, is because it's a work zone, so obviously the speed has to be lower(great logic) and apparently 65 isn't cool.

A lot of the places I've driven where the speed limit is 75, most people drive within 5 of the speed limit. Many of those, right on, even just under. When the speed limit is 55 on a straight interstate, people are going to speed because it's a stupid fucking speed limit.

It's such backwards logic. Make the law retarded, because people will break the law, and then they'll be at the speed you want them, instead of make the law reasonable, and enforce it and people will obey the law.

Then again, they wouldn't be able to pull people over that are driving safely for going x amount over a stupid speed limit, towns wouldn't be able to set up by their 30 zone with 4+ cops waiting, cops wouldn't be able to sleep waiting for the radar, and all of them would lose the revenue. And everythings about money these days.

Kinda bummed. I went home today cause college has been kind of shitty. I was hoping to hang out with my dad a little bit. Just like watch football or something but he was working. I mean, I get it. His job is time consuming and he's in charge of the whole thing so I don't blame him. I've grown up with it my whole life so it's nothing new. It just sucks. I miss my dad and I wish making time for me wasn't such a struggle.

It's just one of those nights i guess..

I guess if it was that long I might miss my parents but I'm not sure. I've never gone that long without seeing them. I did a little over 4 months, then lived with them a few weeks, then didn't see them for another 5 months or so.

I didn't really miss them that much though. We have a weird relationship anyway these days.

That said going to be living an hour and a half drive away for a few years in the winter at least, so I'll probably see them every few weeks or so.

I do feel bad that I don't see my sister very often though. And she's got 2 boys and another kid on the way. I definitely don't want to be a total stranger where they only hear about me from time to time, but it's tough to actually get there to visit.

You hit that point I think a few years after high school where you want to see people but never make it happen. There's just too much going on, and your lives are going in separate directions.

I've been trying to see one of my friends from HS down near NYC all summer since I've been back in the northeast. Haven't made it happen yet.
I hate shit like that.

We need teleporters or something.

I know it could be worse but it still sucks. I've driven an hour home almost every weekend with plans to see my dad and he forgets or gets too busy. It just sucks. I'm literally an hour from home and make the effort to drive there to see everyone but my dad can't take an hour out of his weekend to say hi. I know he's got a lot to do and i'm not blaming him, it's just shitty when you constantly get the short end of the stick.

And yeah, I do plan to move when I get out of college which makes it even shittier. Like I wanna spend time with him while I can... It's a stupid thing to get upset about but it's just frustrating. Oh well though.

My HP printer refuses to print a black and white photo in black and white... Tried all settings, used my last photo paper, only green prints.. Cant take out the colored cartridge than it wont do anything... If I click on print in grey tones and not in colors why the fuck does it still print in color? Even if there is NO color in the image.. Fuck you HP

Both me and my roommate have the same 8am class. I always get up at 6:45ish so I have enough time to get ready and go eat breakfast. Apparently he didn't wake up (has missed the past 6 lectures) and ended up missing the class and then when I got back he said "well why didn't you wake me up?"

Because I'm not your fucking mother, that's why!

I am here to ensure my success not his. If he doesn't want to put in the work then he can fail, I really can't say I give a damn one way or another.

I enjoy history classes and think it applies to a lot of things/gives you an understanding of how the world was shaped including geosciences, but other than that I don't need to know the slope of a line if I'm trying to run a resort/business. I know its cuz I sucked on my placement tests but fucking hell, the way colleges nickle and dime you is just infuriating. We would all easily be done with our degrees in a year or two if we don't do these useless classes.

Ah, makes sense. You'll get thru the bullshit eventually. I was a Corporate Finance & Accounting major, basically a hybrid dual major, though I took as few accounting classes as were required. I always felt that you cannot fully understand one discipline without also understanding the other.

one of the perks of living 2 miles from my office is that I can sleep until 8 everyday and still be at work by 8:30. My roommate, however, it not a healthy kid. We played sports together in high school and he was very fit and a great athlete. We went to different colleges and he let himself go. He exercises maybe 5 times a month now. Every morning, he is up between 6:30 & 7:00 HACKING HIS FUCKING LUNGS OUT in the shower. Every morning. It has woken me up each morning, really screwing with my sleep. I am reluctant to say something because I imagine it doesn't feel very good to be coughing like that, but it's driving me nuts.

I hate getting woken up early. Last summer the autrians I worked with got home an hour or two before I had to get up for work. I can understand it was there after work, but they were fucking loud. I wasn't even loud in the middle of the day. Their rooms were adjacent to mine and the walls were paper thin(cue modest mouse song) and very regularly it would wake me up.

They also sucked at keeping the kitchen clean. Not bad guys at all but wouldn't want to live with them in the future.

So I'm sitting in the office, trying to get work done because I have a dick ton of it. The office closes at 4 so I shut the door, turn on some music and start writing this essay. My coworker comes in like 20 minutes later, sits across the table from me and starts playing stupid music louder than mine. Starts talking away while I'm clearly trying to do work. Then he bitches at me for not responding to what he says. Like go the fuck away, the office is closed he doesn't need to be there and he has nothing work wise with him.

Then he starts bragging about how well he's doing in his bullshit classes meanwhile putting me down for having so much work to do. Like what the actual fuck? So I pack up my shit and leave. I seriously can't focus while listening to the dumb shit he listens to nor can I stand being belittled for trying to get work done.

So I leave to go to the library and realize I don't have headphones and can't do any of my work for my online class since it's silent study. I'm no longer motivated to write this essay. I can't do any of my other homework because I need to watch the lectures online but I can't. I'm stressed the fuck out and just wanted to get some work done since I don't have work tonight, but now i'm probably going to just go sit in my car and cry some more.

If it is a smokers cough there might be nothing that can be done and you might just need to start looking for a new place. If he is sick or something make sure he gets the help he needs to get over the hump. Sometimes it takes a few weeks to get over a secondary infection. Whatever you do don't let the situation make you crazy. I got pneumonia when I was living in a duo apt with a shared bathroom and kitchen. I coughed every day for weeks and could do nothing about it. When my neighbor took the time to write me angry notes with red lipstick on our mirror it did nothing to help the situation. Ultimately she just got more and more frustrated. Eventually I got better but she lost all cred with everyone in the building.

I mean, I did end up going home. It's just not ideal for me to work there. I like being alone cause I always get distracted(I have 3 roommates who are always home) or when I'm home I'll start cleaning or something. So I wanted to stay on campus, get all my work done and go home but it didn't work out like that. Tbh it shouldn't have pissed me off as much as it did but I've been stressing myself out. I need to chylllll lol.

I hate how lazy the other shift at work is. This is the time of year where we really need to bust ass and get shit done and they're still moving at summer pace and letting our shift do all the hard work. We only have a finite amount of nice days left and it makes sense to bust out line work before the snow comes yet they're dinking around doing silly trivial projects that can be done later when the weather goes to hell. Its just getting really old showing up to work for the week and seeing that nothing important got done the last three days, plus it make my boss super moody and he's absolutely terrifying when he's grumpy

My professor dropped of a test to testing centers for me, before I had her sign the paperwork. So now I can't claim or take my test, and have to have the paper signed and SHE'S SICK SO I HAVENTO PUT IT OFF UNTIL FRIDAY. that's a WEEK late.

So I spent $278 at urgent care to not find out anything useful before.

Finally decided to just pony up the $ and get the bloodwork done they called in for me. Called the hospital today to try and figure out what it would cost me. In the process find out, that there is no order for bloodwork for me, or record of one. It never got called in.

Like what the fuck. So not only were the people so less than helpful, and a total waste of money, but they didn't even do the one potentially useful thing they planned on doing.

This is the kind of shit that makes me just think, fuck going to doctors, I'll just see how far I can get, if I'm able to perform my job well enough, and hopefully I don't end up really sick or dead in the process.

It's not even the lack of health care really. It's just shitty experiences where I feel I'm wasting my time. It's not all bad. I found a really good doctor in CO last winter when I got really sick. Was very helpful, kind, and did his best to keep the $ low which was much appreciated.

It's just the other times where I feel like "Why the hell am I giving you money. You're ignoring what I'm saying, and being generally useless".

Really wanted to go into this winter looking pretty good as far as health. Actually kind of NEED to, because I have a ridiculous amount of work ahead of me and don't know if I can pull it off feeling this way.

I mean, I'll probably get it done, but it's kind of like working every day with almost no sleep. IT's possible, but it's not preferred. Especially for a long season.

Enjoy my money urgent care, hopefully it all goes to something good like scratch offs or drugs.

So like two months ago we got a new manger at our store for my section. She's a little bit older than I am and is actually really attractive. So for the past few weeks she's been overly flirtatious and I've just been playing it out trying to feel the situation. So tonight at work, we're talking the majority of the time having a good time and what not, get her number and all that, then all out of the sudden she gets in bitch mood and completely ignores contact the whole rest of our shifts. Like, wtf? I'm so lost.

I have shitty neighbors. They throw parties every fucking Friday and Saturday and the occasional Thursday night party. I don't care that they party, but they literally are so loud until 4am every night and this morning when I went to work there was thrash all over the place. They had a pong table still out, and probably 60 or so cans in the yard. On top of that there were about 10 smashed bottles on the sidewalk. It's inconsiderate as fuck and I have no damn idea how they haven't gotten reported yet. I hope they get caught. I fucking hate them.

Talk to them and leave a note and be like "Yo it's cool if you party but can you turn the volume down a bit when it's super late, and not smash glass all over the place?"

Ohyeah, I totally forgot why I came in here.

Went to town to buy food for dinner and maybe some ice cream so I could get fat while watching shitty movies on netflix.

Got down there just after 7. Apparently they closed at 6. What the fuck. Who does that honestly?

I thought this was America!

So instead I had to settle for a burnt chicken sandwich and burnt fries from the gas station. Better than nothing but still. Who closes at 6?

I generally go grocery shopping around 10-11 pm.

Also all the restaurants near me close at 9 at the latest, sometimes earlier. If you get hungry after 8:30 you're pretty much fucked here.

Gets up at 5am, does a bunch of homework, eats breakfast, goes to two classes, come back to room, shuts door and accidently wakes roommate up, gets told that it's still morning and that I should be quieter, tells roommate to maybe they should consider going to bed earlier so I don't have to wait until noon to do something in my room.
You can sleep and skip classes all you want; but come 10:30, don't expect me to be quite.
