lol clearly you’ve never worked in operations at a ski resort. everyday your not open you are losing money at this point. unsure what mountain you speak of but i can guarantee that they are trying to open as fast as they can and they are doing the updates to keep people engaged. its often a situation where they are just sneaking by with enough to open without it being completely skied out within the day so it is quite literally a day by day call and greatly impacted by what the weather allowed and what the forecast predicts.
since you said corporate, i’m assuming its a mountain who has an expectation that once they open, they are 7 days a week until close so they need to be confident they have enough snow to withstand the dry spells. weather seems to be a challenge everywhere this year.
