Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

If you jump to venture x credit card, you get access to the new cap one lounge at DIA. They also have Dallas. Lots of my layovers are through Dallas so I’ve been debating it
partyandBSi have cap one as well and its extremely convenient. my card has 1% cashback on every purchase and somethings are 2% or 3% and occasionally 6% my interest rate is insane but i always pay my bill

BradFiAusNzCoCaSwitch to Capitol one. I dropped Wells Fargo a couple months ago. Haven’t looked back. Honestly I don’t see the appeal of chase bank. I did my research a couple months ago and chase strikes me as like a Wells Fargo or Bank of America. They’re so big they don’t have to care.

Capitol one - no overdraft fees, 4.3% apy on savings account, etc. It was a no brainer for me.


I found out the no overdraft fees part because American Airlines put a hold on my debit card AND processed the payment of tickets. It was like $1000+ & I didn’t have that sitting in my checking. My card got denied at dinner and I was like wtf. That’s how I found out no overdraft fees lol
Thats the last time I buy flights with a debit card.

That sounds dope, I had a capital one, but I got suckered into chase and Bank of America for that 200 dollar offer.

Definitely thinking about going back after dealing with this shit the last few days.

as you brake the weight shifts to the front. most of your stopping power is there so fronts are more important. of course with bad back brakes you put more work on the fronts and will wear them out faster so then you get to replace all 4 instead of 2 at a time and you could potentially wrap the rotors and have to replace those too.

They had a killer Lunch Special like 1/2 deep dish and 20 oz dew for 5 bucks a while back gotta see if its still going.

have you heard of others in the same boat? if they were pouring drinks out of taps and not spraying them first, theres a high risk of lots of shared bacteria on those tap tips.

A. It tastes bad because stale beer gets stuck on the tap
B. It spreads Germs if they’re not clean glasses everytime

In a positive rant... fuck yeah I finally have my own ski condo! Lucky I found this place there aren't many long term rentals in these ski towns. Think its mine in the winter indefinitely reupped next year Nov 15-May 15. Hope I can actually use it 40 or so nights got a pretty demanding job and other responsibilities.

My 6 months probably doesn't even cover her condo fees, taxes, and the cable for the year. (Mad appreciate that there isn't roko bullshit and I get ESPN was dreading no sports.) Summer renter is the income. There is plenty of affordable housing 15 mins away in Rutland VT etc this isn't Colorado. Seasonal rentals are old school and how things used to be done before airBNB fucked everything up.

A nurse who was “helping” me set up my operating room today gave my surg tech double the dose of a medication. When I caught it and told them, they said “eh it’s not gonna do anything.”


Um… miss ma’am we do not practice medicine?? So I redrew up the medication at the correct dose. And it turned into this whole big thing. My surg tech was like “yeah I’d never question her.” And I was like well maybe you should?? Giving too much, too little or really any variation from a physician’s order is a medication error. It’s considered practicing medicine without a license (in the case of giving additional doses). And I(???) was the one who was in the wrong? No fucking way.

That's quite a generalization.


The order was to combine ancef, toradol and decadron for intrarticular injection during surgery. It was supposed to be 500mg ancef. The vials come in 500mg and 1g. The nurse pulled the 1g vial from the med dispensing system and mixed all the meds with it. So basically they got the right amount of dex and toradol but too much ancef.
