Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

I really enjoyed 1883 but I can't fuckin stand Yellowstone as a TV show in general....Rich ranchers from generational wealth trying to protect "Their land" from rich corporate america destroying their town. Its great to compare to ski towns nowadays with the attitude of NIMBYism. It's like a cult in some of those areas. PC namely.

Yellowstone would have been good if it came to an ending, after the third season it got stale. 1883 though is some of the best television I have ever watched.

They do a decent job of making the cattle industry look semi-entertaining and dramatic but there was one scene in a recent episode where the duttons are at a local bar and get into a fight with some tourists in the most corny "Locals only" way when in reality those are almost always the biggest pieces of shit in any community like that, like its never a good thing to be on a first-name basis with the sheriffs department lmao.

Luckily being a single guy with no furniture meant that what ever fit in my truck was all that was going with me. Couldn't imagine doing the same plus a house of stuff plus a significant other.

Moved to Idaho that way. Forester and an xl Thule box. Was for sure over the specified payload of the car but it worked just fine.

Moved to Reno with a Ford Escape packed to the brim and a roof box full of skis. Somehow managed to need a 15ft U-Haul for my move up to Washington one year later. Now having a fully furnished apartment I am DREADING another move.

Fit my SO and my stuff in the back of the truck, it fit but my rear end was so saggy.

My parents dumped a bunch of patio furniture and stuff onto me and my sister when they moved back east from Utah, and it was nice to have as things in the backyard to chill in. But both of us worked either all day or graveyards and never had any time to have friends over (if we even had any) so it just became dog furniture until we gave it away when we moved in August. Im still kicking myself over giving away a Weber grill tho :( I hope whoever that group of ski bums that picked it up had some killer BBQ's this summer.

But yeah I filled a crewcab chevy colorado with tubs, clothes, ski gear, and all my skis/bike in the back. Only thing I was worried about was getting my shit ransacked by methy types at some shady-as-fuckl hotels.

I feel this in my bones. Had way to much stuff that we couldnt get rid of, even after selling/giving away 90% of our furniture.

I got my car broken into and run through in a paid parking garage in Chicago when I was moving back to head to NZ. They stole my new Smith Squads 😢

i read the first book of lotr and then watched the movie after. it was so mid, so horribly lame compared to what i imagined it looked like in my head that i lost all motivation to read the rest, i probably read like half of the next book before losing all interest.

I read all three books then watched all three movies extended cuts and thought it was awesome, especially the fellowship. The practical effects were so well done and they definitely still stand up for being from the early 2000s

hobbit is super good, but nowhere close to the writing of lotr. its a kids book.

yea idk brev I took geometry in 5th or 6th grade, but na i meant i read the hobbit. I got taken out of all the advanced classes in sixth grade though. since it was a charter school they were always buggin about how far ahead of other schools they were but i didn't learn much more than other schools, besides spaniche, and math

Still dont have my guitar back working yet :( Jammed at a friends house a bit last night though. Felt good to touch the strings again and play a little. Also its a nice long skate back too town from there. Nice spot to think or avoid thinking
