I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

What's the status on your neck looking like? Taking a breather for the winter or have a chance to get outpossibly?


So before my neck started healing wrong the doctor said you should take a year to be safe.....now its healing correctly and ill probably be out of the brace in a month...maybe more because hes being really careful.... if I feel strong enough ill ski what I can...If I have any neck pain or weakness going into the season I wont ski. I might be able to get some spring laps in but the chances of starting to ski pre season are probably under 5% and in February under 40% I heal faster then most people. Im probably gonna end skiing down the hill a little if my neck is ok because if I see it snowing and I cant ski even once when my friends go ill get to upset. If im lucky I can ski park in the spring and summer...nero surgeons dont tell you shit or explain anything...haha

True, just be careful. Always WAYYYY better to have shit heal right than fuck it up by coming back too soon.

And if you do get out, sometimes safely cruising groomers and just being out on the snow is worth it just being there, even if you can't shred the park for a bit.

Ok, life is fucking shallow right now. Everybody around me is trying to impress someone somehow, nobody cares about how are you feeling or what are you thinking.
Everybody wants to be famous but whats the big deal with being famous? I mean sure you get to know a lot of people and get a lot of contacts but whats the point if you have no reason to be famous at all, ugly chicks dressing like they are the next Kate Moss.

I see chicks selling their asses through IG and SC just for some likes and followers, what is this shit, just like andy warhol said, everybody will be world famous for 15 minutes. Is this what we evolve into??? millions of years of evolution just to die trying to be "famous"???
I feel like humans are the dumbest animal in the world right now.

I feel like people are trying to live their life through their Iphones and forget about whats actually happening in front of their eyes. This may seem cliche but I feel like it is just so true.
Girls and guys trying to impress through social media, people now start window shopping for girl/boyfriends through facebook. Facebook is like your own showcase for the world.
I'm feeling sick of all this shit.

Fuck I'm just writing whatever comes to my mind right now, sorry if this written like shit my English is kind of dull and trying to put my thoughts in here is pretty hard but I hope you get the idea.

Follow up post from post up there.

So last night my roommates were drinking in our apartment.They had a few people over for a friends birthday but from what I've been told everyone left around 12:30. Then around 2 am the cops showed up, questioned them, and the 3 of them got arrested.

According to my roommates they were hanging out in the living room with the blinds open and there were cops walking around outside who happened to "peak in" the windows and saw alcohol. Is that even fucking legal?! I mean we live in a complex but we lease this villa out. I'm really fucking confused and feel like it's not right for a cop to look into our apartment without reason. As far as I know, no one complained about noise so I'm fucking confused. My roommates are all facing misdemeanor charges now.

Nobody is sitting in their home, has the cops come in, put them in cuffs, and take them down to the station for drinking inside their house.


That just doesn't happen.

Yeah. It also wouldn't be the first time somebody said "But we weren't even doing anything?!?!?"

If it was just underage drinking, they would have probably had the booze confiscated or poured out, and then been written tickets about the offense.

CSI: Cyber might be the worst piece of bullshit to ever show up on tv. Sweet jesus, Most tv shows are easy enough to pick on anyway, but damn this was bad.

Horrible concept, horrible writing, b+ acting.

What the fuck.


Basically, CSI felt like they were losing their hold or would be soon, and needed to move into something more modern. I don't even like criminal minds but at these they kind of felt into their own and figured their shit out. But this is like a bad knock off of that.

So, I was hiking the SHT this weekend and I got to my destination where I was suppose to be camping. However given the fact that it was only 2PM and there was no stream near by where I could get water I decided to walk to town which was 10 miles to the east. Why you might ask? I have no fucking Idea and given the fact that I was completely exhausted from the previous 20 miles that day, I should have just stayed where I was. Anyways, I got about 6 miles before I had to stop because I started to really feel crappy due to not having had any water for the past couple miles. I decided to try to hitch a ride and after 15 cars(One every 10 minutes or so) some kind gentleman whom was a bit different I must say gave me a ride to town where I promptly got something to eat.

I guess what I am trying to get at here is I find it sad that 15 cars went by without stopping. And the majority of the people driving those vehicles gave me a rather distasteful expression and a couple gestures. However one can't really blame them as it has been drilled into our heads that all hitchhikers are serial killers and thugs. It seems that those who do stop, are those who are less fortanet or have gone through some hard times in their life such as the man who gave me a ride. I can honesty say that that mans kindness saved me a whole lot of trouble and probably some unwanted medical bills. This stigma that all hitchhikers are lazy bums or criminals and are not worth paying any mind to needs to stop. You never know what their situation is or how helpful you could be.

Take a chance every now and then.

They were talking about how isis poses a massive risk to our cyber security and we need to beef up our efforts. Really? You're fucking kidding me right. Do people forget the ridiculous, almost limitless budget we throw at out military. The ridiculous presence our government has including online.

It's almost funny because it's so ridiculous.

Foreign policy 2016= foreign policy 2012=2008 etc for a while. Let's blow the piss out of the middle east because of special interests.

But we'll keep voting for a donkey or an elephant because people are morons and think that somehow one of those "sides" is inherently good and the other side is evil.

What happened to your neck man? Sorry if I missed it earlier in the thread. And ditto to what Borty said. I've broken the same toe twice now and its such a pain in the ass.

I understand that natural wildfires are actually good for the environment, (helps clear out old dead trees and stuff, etc.) But it still irks the fuck out of you hearing that a massive blaze no less than 10-15 miles from where you are right now was started by some asshole dicking around on private land. By the looks of it, its B-lining straight for the Wasatch range, which is probably my biggest fear when it comes to these fuckin things. Lots of awesome places including ski areas are a few stones throws over a peak or two, so it would not take long for this fire to reach it I would assume.


idk its just shitty seeing this kind of stuff, especially cuz the fall colors are unfuckingreal in the mtns right now, just sucks seeing giant clouds of smoke and charred hillsides. just wish people were smart and used their fucking brains for once. guarantee it was some fucking asshole shooting off guns in a field drier than bones.

Also the fact that most places have more than enough handicapped spots. What is the point of changing some of them over to something less likely to be used, when verterans can use those spots, simply so that we can be like "Look what we got you".

School is fucking hard. I've been back for three weeks now and I have no fucking clue how I'm gonna get to graduation. I feel so bad for taking up a spot in this institution when I'm not driven and already crumbling under pressure. (From easy classes!!!) I've got three research projects done, but for some reason I'm not pleased with any of them. Might just scrap this 8 pager and start from scratch. I'm not sure leaving Anthropology we for the best, but at the same time I love my geography classes. I've got 1 1/2 years left at this place and idk man. Fuck me.

You were majoring in anthropology? Nice. That's what I'm thinking. Geography is pretty cool though too.

I got my ass kicked the other day by school and it was a huge reality check. I haven't ever has to try in school and this is just weird.

Just get into a routine. Currently forcing myself to head to the library to write a paper due tomorrow. Ugh.

My roommate is driving me crazy. She pees on the toilet seat and never puts a new roll of toilet paper out (she'll leave 1 little square on the roll so it seems like she wasn't the last one to use it). She never cleans anything.... She never vacuums or picks up her receipts from the floor or empty grocery bags from the floor. She drops food in the kitchen all the time and never picks any of it up. We have a bug problem and I'm sure that's a big cause of it! She eats my food and drinks my milk yet gets so stingy if I need to use one of her pieces of food. She leaves the stove on all the time. She never locks the front door (neighbor just got robbed). She gave her boyfriend a key and he comes over all the time when she's not here or she leaves him here all the time. They have really loud gorilla sounding sex all the time. She wears all my clothes and doesn't wash them. She never remembers anything I tell her and she can't even remember what she told me. Every single conversation we have is her telling me something she's told me 5 times before. She always parks her car behind mine so I have to move her car to move mine. She gets hair everywhere. She has to leave for work at 5am and shes super loud when she is getting ready for work (plays music too). Her boyfriend broke our screen door and she refuses to replace it. WOW I AM SO ANNOYED WITH HER LATELY.
