Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

Man even back in 2011 it was getting bad. Lots or RC stuff. At least testing was coming up. Still though. Now it's almost rare to find the real drug you're trying to do most places. So much bunk shit. Fuck the war on drugs. The war on drugs has killed a bunch of people.

The worst is how eager capitalist assholes were for pharmies. Profits money American dream. It goes sideways af shockingly. Then we put a generation of people in jail or watch them die and judge them.

Heroin is bad, pulls are good. That was literally the fucking sentiment for years. Im lucky I didn't get addicted. I had a script for vicodin when i was 17 after breaking my back and femur. Could have easily gone the wrong way.

Idk bums me out that bullshit pharma profits caused this thing we're still dealing with. People judge people for doing drugs. The mid 2000s was "weed will kill you pills are fine".

It's so fucked. There's a body count on those hands. You're not supposed to loose that many friends in your 20s.

RIP to those gone. I hope they're at peace

Midwest is home to the scum core of both skiing and surfing. Anyone jumping into Lake Superior wearing multiple wetsuits in the winter is dedicated AF to their craft.

Tbf fair there is a Sheboygan in Michigan... But it's spelled Cheboygan and is not nearly the surf spot that the home of chicken joe is.

Anyways here's my favorite great lakes surf vid. Midwest surfing is weird. A lot of cool people and also a lot of dipshits that think that a new person coming to a spot means everyone is going to move out from Cali to the UP to surf cold junk and blow it up.

Rising shipping costs are absolutely destroying the business I work at. For example, it cost us 90$ to send two 38 pound packages from Ohio to Texas just now. Those two packages are only worth about 357$ total. It's not sustainable

Alterra just announced 16 new lifts for a 3 year Deer Valley expansion and I could not be more
disappointed. They are expanding on their exclusiveness with high dollar hotel expansions and continuing to be ski only. I was at a work conference in Deer Valley and they gave a diversity, equity, and inclusion talk and it felt like the most hypocritical thing ever. How the fuck can you preach expanded representation when you are investing more money in the least diverse resort? This expansion will be the biggest investment into a single ski resort in DECADES. And I don’t mean within Alterra I mean globally. Not a fan.

it’s really comfy and safe, i’ve hit a guard rail, mail box and backed into a car and there’s barely a scratch on the thing. I was fine every time too. tbh i’d like an older pilot if i could find one for 5-7k
