Lmao I've got a the drink butter tall t in team from a tall t tuesday I won a long time ago. Only break it out for special occasions in the spring. Gotta match it with some real baggy pants lol. (I'm 5'10" so mine really doesnt fit)

asked my brother if the dogs were okay outside and to keep an eye on them— he did not and Neva ran across the north fork, someone picked her up as i was calling for her, and now they don’t believe me that she’s my dog and they’re holing her hostage while I’m on the phone with the sheriff. I told him she runs and to tether her, I need a fucking fence and my parents think I’m over reacting about wanting to pay for a dog run. This cannot be happening.

I'm 6' 1'' and only get XL from Tall T. Honestly the shirts are proportioned well, but they max out the acceptable bagginess on me at only size XL.

I’ve made a few fences that were pretty cheap and effective. I used u post and chicken wire. Ran the posts ever 12 feet and it was pretty easy to install. Just used a couple screws and some tension to open and close it by the house. With another set of hands, you could have that fence up in about the time it took ya to get rid of a camry’s worth of junk.

Flights are spendy these days. NZ place isn't covering my flight and it's $$$. Glad I traveled a bunch in simpler times. Hyped visa came through and I'm going. Just trying to keep it sustainable and with flight costs might shop for a place that will help me out with that next year. Hopefully they'd be down for something.

Why the fuck does my mountain still clear the snow stake even though they closed last weekend. They had 40+cm (16+") of fresh snow overnight. Conditions are better now than at any point this season. Hoping Whistler conditions hold up for a bit.

they probably are clearing it for data capture. likely reporting out to outside entities such as news stations or government agencies and want to keep that reporting reputation up. also, its the off season so the people working dont have much to do. better go clear the stake! Lol or maybe they just don’t want the internet warriors to see it and heckle them for being closed

We used to do the Roman salute until WW2 happened (shown below). Then, Under God was added during the red scare. I get pride in your country but I’m not about blind obedience. I believe true patriotism is constantly trying to improve your society and showing up. Not just parroting the same sentence over and over.





r00kieGotta be honest, if I were to go back into high school I would purposely show up five minutes just to avoid the pledge. Pretty weird. I generally like living in the US but I don't need to militantly pledge my alliegence to it every morning at 7:45.

They took out sex ed and made the entire school pledge to abstinence because the only safe sex is to not have sex at all. We also had stickers on our text books warning that evolution is just a theory and not fact. Actual unsure if that was because I was in the heavily conservative, over militarized, god fearing colorado springs area or if it was from the feds and the bush administration.

I kinda feel like the factory worker shit is such a bullshit take, at least when I was in school. They pushed math and science pretty hard, as well as college. If those weren't your thing plenty of other electives or trade school. If anything they pushed white collar jobs way to hard.
People always bitch about math classes and shit but algebra and basic geometry and trig are pretty damn useful. They should have done a better job at conveying the usefulness.
People also like to bitch that they never learned how to do taxes, if you know basic math and can read instructions you can do your taxes, a critical thinking and you can understand why your taxes are the way they are. I owed a lot more in taxes this year than any other year so I sat down a figured out why. I do agree that a tax specific part of a curriculum would be beneficial but algebra will help understand that.
If anything you would want your factory worker to be dumb as hell and not understand they are getting underpaid or they have other opportunities.

I don’t get why they have to close. They were there pre 470, pre suburban sprawl of lakewood. Those developments were built knowing that the track was there. Kinda like people in morrison complaining about noise from red rocks when its been an amphitheater since 1941.

So I work with a second person to create the schedule for about 60 staff in my department. The process is always I balance every first and input it, and then they check it for accuracy and make any final changes. So tonight I logged on and started to notice that this motherfucker had went in and made changes during a time they knew I was editing. It's like a giant puzzle. If one piece is changed, 3 more might be affected. Now when you change 30+ shifts, my work has essentially become useless. I spent 10+ hours for fucking nothing. My fucking God. The kicker is they asked me to put a rush on it and I completed it 2 weeks earlier than the typical deadline. Bust my ass to be nice only for you to fuck me. Fuck.

Bro literally it was allowed to abuse children in our school system "back then" and even worse, treat mentally disabled kids like absolute trash via bullying or seclusion or allowing schools to get shot up (which is still happening, we just have social media to record thank god.)

I CANT BELIEVE I DROPPED A 60k SHELL ON THE DOCS TODAY HOW THE FUCK DID I MESS UP THAT BAD. Ya’ll don’t understand the amount of fear in me turning that boat over to see how bad the crack was. Very minor, just some scrapes and small cracks in the carbon but the yelling me and the other oarsman carrying the boat got was not. The board and our coaches along with other teams coaches at the rowing club ripped into us for how stupid we were and how we’re lucky the club has insurance on boats and that’s part of the fee we pay for competitive programs and how now they’re considering not funding our boats trip to canadian nattys or some invitationals we’ve got into. Along with our coach telling us she won’t let us take out small boats anymore because we aren’t mature enough to row on our own. Then we had to take all the motor boats out of the water and up to storage on our own. Along with High Rate sprints on the Erg and then clean up trash and hall shrubs to a compost pile.

on the bright side right after i got stoned, ate a bagel went home and napped then got stoned again walked my dogs, made dinner went to the beach and lit up there and then watched waves while i threw the ball for my dogs.
