I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

Was passing a line of ms car on the highway today at a decent rate of speed. Limit is 55, I was going 68-70ish and the cars next to me were probably going 65ish. I was just getting to pass the last car before merging back to the right and this motorcycle came in between our cars extremely fast to pass me. Like he was 100% not in a lane… basically riding the dashed lines. I hadn’t seen him. He wasn’t behind me 10 seconds prior. He’s lucky I wasn’t merging over yet because I 100% would not have seen him and he’d be dead.

I hate motorcycles.

splitting lanes is legal in California and some other states but it definitely is an at your own risk sort of thing to do

Lmao I was just kidding, I would never microwave raw chicken as a cooking method lol

But a if you need a recipe… my go-to is usually teryaki chicken on a frying pan. But you gotta dip that shit in cornstarch before you fry it. Makes it crispy. Then once it’s cooked you add soy/teryaki sauce on top

When i was driving lyft in denver the motorcycles crews certainly lived outside the traffic laws. Stunt riders everywhere, unlicensed dirtbikes and atvs, bagged harleys at 12 o’clock, etc. the cops cant do shit either. I was in the ballpark area picking people up at like 1:45a and there was cops out everywhere and literally 15 feet from a cop this guy puts his front wheel against the curb and does a burnout for like 2 minutes pumping up the people at the crowded bar then flipped off the cop and blitzed out of there lmao. Cop just watched the entire time when she could have walked 2 seconds to confront them.

I really can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not but I have no sympathy for these people, they're the same people flying rainbow flags sitting during the pledge and disrespecting teachers. I'm not even playing i saw a girl that had fucking ear surgery to make it look like cat ears and they were painted pink. like its honestly funny and when I walked past it my nose tingled for some reason like it generally hurt

Gotta be honest, if I were to go back into high school I would purposely show up five minutes just to avoid the pledge. Pretty weird. I generally like living in the US but I don't need to militantly pledge my alliegence to it every morning at 7:45.

They did this at my hs sophomore year and a bunch of ppl opp'd in so they didn't have to participate in anything that day. People just sat on their phones in class.

Public schools are a fucking toilet lmao and no amount of money is going to fix them.

everyone splits lanes in europe and no one seems to get hurt, honestly works so much better than over here. everyone just expects everyone to do whatever they want and it seems to work.

When i was in Thailand the lanes were not real. People drive so close and the roads get so packed. The Honda Grom scene there is incredible lol. India looks pretty similar from what ive seen online.

PSA, never use the TurboTax desktop edition. I bought off Amazon because it was on sale at half the price. Holy fuck it sucks. It's slow. It isn't as user friendly. It doesn't have all the same style of features for some niche items. Jesus

Tf do u mean manually? I didn't pay someone to do it for me. Are you referring to the free versions that companies and the IRS offer? I still input or uploaded everything.

The online version of TurboTax is quite nice although their "expert" support is garbage. The desktop version for whatever reason is super clunky and doesn't mirror the online product in all ways. My finances are just diverse enough that I gotta buy the premier software version. It takes some time when you got a bunch of different accounts you gotta upload and if your spouse works multiple jobs (annoying af to input). Add in other deductions like student loan interest, mortgage interest, 529 contributions, retirement, HSA, etc. It's a lot to document so unless you're working a single job with not much going on, no way you get it done in 20min lol.

Side note, the fact Ohio gave me a refund of $600 but the feds took $1200 just shows how stupidly complex federal tax rates are.

Dude I’m in hs and work part time as a server/bus boy at a restaurant and made less than 10 grand all year and don’t have a morgage or wife or anything or 529 interest or loans or nothing, on jah it took me less 20 minutes and even had my mom check to make sure I did it right
