So many of them on the mountain today, like holy shit.

#1: I pull up to the lot with 2 of my east coast friends to show them snowbird on a bright sunny pow day. Person pulls up in back of us bumping obnoxiously loud fuckboy music with a dog in his car. I ain't no snitch, but there's a pretty damn strict no dogs in the cottonwoods law. I ask him where he's from. "New York". I tell him politely, "Just a heads up you could get a hefty fine for bringing your dog in the canyon". He replies, "He's a service dog get off my dick man!" I reply, "The marshalls around here won't give a shit what he's wearing" then I go on to ignore him while we put our gear on.

#2: Ski patrol opens some new terrain and my friends and I are on the traverse right where the new terrain opens with fresh powder ahead. The people in front of us are literally standing still instead of hiking/traversing up, and so I politely say, "If you're not gonna move then I'm gonna go by you and pass over them in the powder above the traverse." They look at me and say, "What the fuck dude? You can't do that!" I don't even wait to hear any more, just went and skied some pow.

#3: Overall, had a great day with the east coast friends, take them down Great Scott which is wonderfully wind-buffed. One of my friends doesn't ski with the best form, and maybe goes a bit too fast but is careful to avoid being around people while doing so. He gives this old guy about 30 feet of room while he goes around him and then meets me where I'm stopped at the bottom. This old dude quickly follows us over to the plateau we're standing on and tries to spray my friend with snow but can't get enough lift to actually spray him with it. Then he stops right in front of both of us, and starts yelling at the top of his lungs for at least 30 seconds something like, "HEY YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT WATCH WHERE THE FUCK YOU'RE GOING YOU FUCKING CUNT. YOU'RE GOING WAY TOO FAST AND YOU SKI LIKE SHIT." At this point I chime in with a nice, "HEY YOU FUCKING DICKHEAD HE GAVE YOU PLENTY OF ROOM GO FUCK YOURSELF." Old guy gives us both the middle finger and says, "YOU SKI LIKE SHIT TOO GO BACK TO WHEREVER THE FUCK YOU CAME FROM" and sizes us up as if he wants to fight us but I just yell at him while laughing, "GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE YOU FUCKING IDIOT. WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM." 60 year old decides he doesn't want to fight us after all and skis off angrily.

Not sure what people were on today but damn what a weird day where I encountered more agro people than ever before. I think that old dude might be local too so I hope I get to see him again and fuck with him more because he deserves it for being such an asshole.
