Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

I honestly don't care about marriage as a governmental thing. I'll use it to make my someday partner clear I'm committed to them for the rest of my life but thats kind of it. Marriage is forever and romantic love in the sense of how human chemistry works is much more fleeting since our biology is clearly made for one man to have many partners during his life and proliferate

I thought testosterone levels drop in males when their partner is pregnant & after the woman gives birth, to prevent the male from going after other potential partners while the family is at it's most vulnerable and needs the man around to help raise the child / protect them from lions or whatever

Seriously NGL, i feel like such a beta cuck everytime i sit at an EV charger.

Ordered the car for my wife back when I had just put solar on our old home. But then she found a new house with no solar and only a 2 car garage. We cant add an EV charger at home cuz service panel is too small big $$ to do so havent done it plus damned if i give up the other garage spot anyways. And she has chargers at her work also free but when you cant rely on them being available when you need, then i get to take the car to charge somewhere. Spent way too much time doing this it may be free but time is money its hardly more than min wage

first world problems for shiggity, but this is a skiing board… id take the over on number of kids whos daddy has a lambo

Im not saying that this is what I want or how I feel. Personally, I'd love to have a life partner I care about and can be with forever. I'm saying on a purely animalistic view, men are able to have many manu kids with many many different partners. And it makes sense that nature would want humans to spread the gene pool and multiply in the way that many people would have different partners. That said, tribalism was clearly an upgrade in evolution so that's likely when we went to family units as a given.

Yeah I looked this up and found a few pop-science articles. It didn't look like any of the studies controlled for things like sleep changes, levels of stress, dietary changes, or changes in exercise habits. All of those factors can influence hormone levels, especially testosterone. If I had a kid and started exhibiting signs of hypogonadism I would definitely be getting my thyroid and balls checked cause that shit ain't normal.

Those thoughts also crossed my mind but I didn’t look too hard into the studies. Maybe I should stop skimming over pop science articles lol

Like tf why can’t she just take the fall, everyday I get further away from them I feel, it’s all so fake. I’m closer with my girlfriends parents than mine and I’m 22.

Humans arent even evolved to be able to live past like 40 years old... before we domesticated ourselves, we died hunting mammoths and sabertooths and shit. We became tribal elders in our 30s just because everyone else died of an infected toenail or childbirth.

So if your junk even works, and your back doesnt hurt like hell, consider it luck and enjoy the rest of your life.

I'm sorry this happened, but I think its not that hard to be closer to your friends parents because they will always try to treat you nice when you're over, in fact I do like going over to my one friends house in the summer because they treat me nice and sometimes we have dinner

Crystal and I guess all Alterra mtns got rid of beer discounts. Alterra and Vail in a race to see who can do skiing worse than Walmart.

Anytime I find a reason to maybe come back they come up with something new to make things worse.

It's impressive actually. Not sure where I wanna head to. Might go back to Aspen for a few seasons. Not buying real estate there but the employee housing is good, the bus system is epic, and highlands and ajax are sick af.

Crystal is a great mtn but unless they pony up some serious loot I can't see it being worth it.

They still have happy hours at Winter Park which is alterra



but they are way more expensive than breck which i thought was surprising. And the food really isnt that good. Work in progress i guess lol

I've seen a few R1T's in the roaring fork valley over the summer and a few on I 70 this winter. Even though they are really capable trucks I haven't seen any on the trails. Hopefully more coming out on the trails this summer.

Want to get up to boho a little later today because I would rather ski spring conditions than ice and it's not going to warm up until noon.

However I know that I am rolling the dice that all parking will be full by 11 because boho spends more money building hot tubs than on actual infrastructure.

This issue is compounded by the "boho people" who think they are the best skiers in north America because they ski boho, when in actuality they take 2 runs and spend the rest of the day taking up space in the parking lot. These two runs usually consist of side slipping down any good/steep terrain to ensure that it is as icey/full of rocks as possible

i didn’t think i was hung over today but i still felt like shit and then had to coach. i think it’s cause i slept in a closet infront of a laundry machine that was loud asf so my sleep sucked. but then i had the worst day ever at work. One kid beat the shit out of another and i had to call one’s parents, and fill out a incident report, another kid pissed themselves, another one got poked in the eye and had to do another incident report, one lost their poles so i got chewed out, then on my last run one of my kids absolutely murks a lift tower and blew up. I thought the poor girl died. It scared tf outta me but she was fine.

Boho is a whack place. Bunch of 30 something's who think they are sick skiers but are really there to relive their mtu/nmu frat days. Place is also ran by morons. Cool terrain...for the Midwest. Any random mom and pop in the west has the terrain boho offers.

Ah see gotta disagree there. The locals don't think they're hot shit it's the fucking trolls and Chicago/Milwaukee people that drive me nuts.

Terrain wise I'd put boho up there with places out west, out west terrain is of course more difficult, but at most resorts it's like 1000 feet of steep stuff and then groomers. With no grooming and tight trees boho can be challenging if only for 3-400ft or so.

I grew up skiing in SE Michigan (Pine Knob), have been to like Cabrafe, Boyne Highlands/Mtn, and Otsego club, but Boho has always intrigued me. It could be a fun cheap ski trip (and you get to see family). UP skiing looks honestly kind of rad as hell if the lake effect hits right. I've also heard theres some abandoned ski areas up there you can tour? It reminds me a lot like Brighton. Only like 6 chairs but some really fun stuff to ski if you know where to go. All my co-workers call it super flat but they also compare it to Snowbird which is just like apples to oranges dude.

Living with day shift people when you work nights sucks. I just wanna play some music and crush some beer. I'm playing music but sucks being quiet. I'm not even loud really but I don't wanna have to worry about volume. Would be sick to play the electric for a bit.

Idk worked a bunch of hours, just wanna enjoy my day or two off.

I miss the old cat dorm where everyone worked grave shift. Idk I just wanna jam a bit
