partyandBSmost people don’t sign waivers for single day tickets. At least not at Vail Resorts or Alterra. There is language on the back of the ticket for these users. Seems like a money grab that will kill participation and then they will say hey this event is dead or this event isn’t aligned with our passholders otherwise they would have been there. A lot of comps will have discounted tickets for the event. I did 1 FWT qualifier at Stowe and they had $25 tickets for participants. Also, if your mountain has a comp center they likely already have waivers for events that can be signed.
Yeah for sure. Mt snow when they did their snowmaking test and ended up doing a park weekend mid october 2008 and maybe the next year? You had to get a ticket from some dude but it was free. They wanted you to have it attached for liability.
Yeah the discount tickets are sick, it wouldn't make sense but it's still dumb we aren't offering them. Basically this rail jam is right in front of the lodge. The lift that could help but not really stops at 4, other lift is slow af and has a line. It's dumb. We do make them sign a waiver too.
It might be a cash grab but it won't be a cash grab. 0 people will buy a fucking 150 lift ticket to come to a rail jam. Or a $75 to not night ski and hike a rail jam.
Yeah for sure. That's how I got to a lot of mountains in the northeast. We'd carpool for a comp and the cheap ticket. Sometimes barely took another run outside of the comp but it was cool to see new places.
This rail jam would be great to invite other people out to check out Crystal. Last year we had one in the same spot and their were people from all over, it was sick.
Idk, not hyped about this
