Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

It's after 9 and I'm still up. I slept a little big the night before last. Zombie mode a little though.

Supposed to get sleep so my shitty brain is less shitty but I'm all messed up sleep schedule wise.

Stayed up a bit to wait for an email that I didn't get, and then make a call that didn't reach the person. Pretty much failing in general and stressing bullshit.

I need to hear back from people so I can determine what the fuck I'm doing this summer and get a plan on the road. Im pretty open either way but this not knowing thing isn't cool.

Am I being over the line here? or is this a reasonable stance to have?

had a massive church group come through work today to go do a bunch of ziplines and stuff. I personally do not care what groups come through, cuz its all the same money and its all paying for my paychecks, shit like that. but what really bothered me was them posting up with their group like 30-40 people deep and then belting out into a church tune so that literally everyone in the building could hear them. Then proceeding their song, they all said a prayer super loud, then they left. they were nice people, I just didn't find their singing to be appropriate for the setting they were in at all, to be honest.


they purposely sang loud, and to be fair they did sound good, but they belted it out as loud as possible so that everyone in the building had to listen to it, which stems back down to the issue of cramming views down peoples throats, I think. does that seem like an irrational thing to feel? or would you guys feel the same way?

its not technically illegal or against the rules to do that, but its just interesting to me because I guarantee you if the tables were turned, and that same very group was out elsewhere and say a group of muslims, jewish people, or even catholics or something broke out in a prayer, they would be demanding for a manager and would most certainly be offended, so what gives them the right to express their views to people who quite frankly don't give a shit, and just want to have a nice day in the sun? believe what you want, just don't go around doing shit like that, forcing people to hear your views and beliefs.

I personally am christian but would still be bugged by that. There is a time and place to express your faith and that doesn't seem like a very appropriate place to do it.

I just hate obnoxiously loud people. Actually at the christian resort my dad works at, going over to the dining hall there once in a while. It's loud to the point where I dont even want to eat in there. Since my head injury I don't even know if I'd subject myself to that(real sensitive to loud noises now). It's worse than a school cafeteria. These people get a little loud, so you get louder, some other guys get even louder, and then everyones fucking yelling.

Was trying to get a second job at zumiez, my ex knew this and he saw me at the mall interviewing the other day. He just posted on his snapchat story that he just got hired there. Definitely don't want to work with him and I hate that he's on some petty shit. Motherfucker.

I hate clingy people. I'm pretty independent and hate when I can't do things by myself. I just want like 2 days to do what I want, how I want without someone all over me. I don't like to rely on others and it stresses me out when people can't do things by themselves and ask me to do things with them. Maybe that is selfish but I just don't see why people can't do their own errands and other basic things by themselves. I love hanging out with people but if were just going to do nothing all day then I would rather get my own work done by myself...

I go to my uncle today after having noticed a couple large patches of Poison Hemlock around his yard where dirt was just spread (Hauled in from somewhere else) and tell him that he should do something about it before one of the dogs or a little kid decides to start munching on it. Him having the personality he does just shrugs it off and walks away. If it was poison ivy or itchweed it would be one thing but it's f*&king hemlock! Plants can kill. I wish he would just listen to me and spend a couple hours dealing with it before it goes to seed and spreads all over.

it is honestly very sad that even grown-ass men and women are teaching their own children that stealing is okay, watched a whole family pull a fast one real good on us today while going through our gift shop, granted it was only a few $2.50 bottles of soda, they grabbed them out of the fridge, walked around with them as they shopped, and then the father got super mad when I brought it up.

whatever, really wasn't worth the effort fighting over 7 dollars worth of cokes when people drop hundreds, even thousands to do shit here. it just bums me out that as a society, we still think its okay to do these kinds of things, and pass them onto our own children. I even find stealing from Walmart and stuff to be fucking greasy. its not the corporation or business you are hurting, its the employees job that you are putting on the line. its definitely easier to say "Go find another job" when you have everything handed to you, so don't give me that shit either.

I agree, The two things I hate most are thieves and lazy entitled people.

That said I wouldn't really get mad at someone who couldn't afford food and stole some. At the same time there are lots of food pantry places where you can go and get stuff for free. also in some areas churches and other groups that do free meals once or twice a week. Also government programs that may not always meet the demand but they're out there. (Unfortunately plenty of leeches riding these as well)

Stealing is weak and I hate how so many people view it as being okay. People feel like the world owes them something and they're entitled to anything and everything because they got dealt a shitty hand in their eyes and life isn't fair.

Everybody's out to get what's theirs and fuck anyone who get's in their way.

So I bought a car in mid/late dec and didn't pass NYS inspection. Jumped through a few hoops still didn't work and I took a job in CO anyway so I just left at night and didn't come back. On returning I slipped back in at night and have been driving around all sketched out. Spent most of my time in pa with friends and paying them to do things to my car. Put some decent $$$ and finally got it ready to pass. Drove up to Suffern NY NY/NJ border and went through all the steps to set everything(Doing it in ridiculous traffic on 287 was nuts) but I did it brought it back and the scan tool said I went through everything. Then the guy brings it in and says it won't connect to his machine and to go up to his brothers or cousins midas shop. They say the same thing. I called my buddy in PA he's saying, that it makes no sense unless they broke something. Anyway I go back to whipping around all sketched out. I came back in this last time late night to my parents house. I'm leaving tomorrow morning and decided to give it one more try at the shop across the street from their house.


Thinking it's unlikely to pass. Fucking passes no problem and those assholes I went to before were full of shit. So I was risking a fine that could have been a few 100 bucks because these assholes were assholes.

And the inspection is only $11. I could have easily re registered it in CO while I was there but I really didn't want a CO plate. When you road trip the country constantly and go to lot's of shows and music festivals cops see the CO tags and assume you must be loaded up with weed. NYS isn't special but I figure since I spend part of the year in the northeast seeing music it's decent to keep the NY tags, even if I'm in CO for more than half the year.




Sparknotes: Fuck shitty people. Fuck sketchy mechanics. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck. PS happy I passed NYS inspection FINALLY.

Spent some $$$$$$$ and jumped through all kinds of hoops but it's on there for another year.

Try going outside of Boston if possible. Dedham (Legacy Place), Natick Mall, Chestnut Hill Mall, and Braintree may work.

On my gps. It will plan out a whole route cross country and THEN ask you if you want to avoid carpool lanes. Then if you say yes you have to plan the whole fucking thing again, which can take a while. Why the hell doesnt it ask that at first. Even better have a selection so if you're rolling solo all the time you can set it to no carpool lanes ever. Same with tolls. If I'm going to void the tolls I know right from the beginning. It just makes no sense.

The U turn. Many gps will have you drive in a direction just to make a uturn. There should be a uturn icon so you know. I drove 7 miles once only for it to be bringing me to a road to uturn at. Was like fuck this, I could have pulled one 7 fucking miles ago.




People who can't merge AGAIN. This stupid cunt from MA skipped all chances to merge propperly heading into construction then tried to actually pull into my lane along side of me as the left lane ended. Then I wouldn't let her in, and alerted her to how retarded I thought she was and she accelerates, almost clips the cones and slams in in front of the next person, still no turm signal. In her stupid fucking head I was an asshole because I didn't let her in and she had to pull in because her lane was ending. What the stupid whore who will probably have several stupid fucking children failed to notice was all the signs for miles alerting everyone to the left lane ending and everyone else signalling and merging into the middle lane when they found openings. But no, not this whore.

I really wish cops would sit at those merges and ticket the fuck out of people like that. Those people, idiot/aggressive drivers, and people driving without their lights on are the ones that cause accidents not speeders. IF a road is open, and somebody is going 15 over it doesn't fucking matter. IT's the people that are bombing through traffic that THINK they know how to drive. Had a guy cut through between me and another car two days ago. He thought he had enough room but didn't, I figure what he was doing and backed off right as he swung through, he wouldn't have made it otherwise.

Watched somebody do a jersey sweep to the right in traffic with a left turn signal on. That was pretty sweet.


Also I don't understand whay we set our speed LIMITs so low. IT's a speed LIMIT. Instead we set it low "because people are going to speed" so we set it low so the final speed will be what we want. That's so fucking backwards and reactionary. Set the speed proper and then enforce it. Imo it just shows a lot of what's wrong with our laws in this country.

Actually in most situations the proper merging technique is for oncoming cars to merge going the freeway speed. So here in CA that is generally 65-70. Going slower than that is where problems arise. But if you are a thru traffic driver who is in the right hand lane, you have to be ready for the possibility that you have to get over. Some on ramps are really short, or curved with no chance for the merging driver to adjust their speed relative to you. It is best if you just pass them. But I've never seen a problem of people merging at too fast of a speed.

I say this because where I live nobody can merge. They all get on going 45mph, and loads of times I've seen cars just get run off the road because they just yield and yield. Merging is a delicate art. Not too slow, not too fast and requires two to tango. A good merge with another car feels so good.

So a lot of people just come on going like 75 cause they drive fast as shit all the time, or judge it badly, thinking they can beat me on but they can't.

The bigger problem is the design of the roads. The on ramp is right before the exit ramp here, at least on the highway I have in mind. So cars coming on interfere with cars trying to get off. It jsut ends up with everybody hitting the brakes hard.

We were mowing a city cemetery today and I was in the back. A few hours into the job one of the other workers on our crew comes up and starts yelling at me for not mowing between some graves. I try to explain to her that it is against the laws of physics to fit a 72" deck between two objects that are 60" apart. After a good 5 minutes I just gave up.

Some people need to learn how to accept that they may be wrong at times.

People are so faking ignorant. At work today a woman asked me to wrap up her sandwich. I told her we aren't allowed to touch any food that has been taken off the counter due to health codes and offered her a box to put her own sandwich in. She was like "i don't know how to use these boxes." Which is ridiculous as shit if you can't figure out how to close a damn sandwich box. And I told her again that it was illegal for me to take her sandwich and wrap it for her. She then got all pissy and was like alright whatever. Easily closes the box I gave her btw and then causes a huge scene. "Thanks for nothing! I guess I'll have to put my own sandwich in my own box. Guess I'm not paying for service!" Like fuck you bitch stop being lazy. We don't control the laws.

Dude those are the worst! Get on/get off lanes intermixed are so hectic. Luckily we don't have too many here.

Enjoy your weekends folks, and dont piss and moan about how awful your weekend is going to people who have to work, biggest pet peeve of mine is seeing miserable people spending their hard-earned holidays off whining.

Dont do that, cherish every single moment youre not working or schooling (obviously there are exceptions but fuck your negative ass for wanting to bring them up.)

Got hit by a drunk driver on the 4th and I feel shitty as fuck. I'm supposed to leave for snowflex in a week and I don't know if I'm gonna be able to do it. Fuck. I was injured all season, I could still ski just not even close to what I can do. This trip was supposed to like make up for a season full of injuries and now I'm barely able to get out of bed a week before. Fuck this. Fuck drunk drivers. I'm sad and I was looking forward to skiing again):

True, I would at least ask for some beer/food money. Like "yo, you ran me over with your car, can you buy me a meal or a 6er of something good?"

It's just a concussion, which sucks but I could be dead so it's not bad. I didn't break anything and walked away from it and my brother was fine too so I just gotta be happy about that.

That's awful to hear though. Something like that happened in WNY a few years ago too. So sad...

just be cautious with the actual recovery process. a lot of the issues people get from concussions like migraines, loss of coordination and stuff can stem from a poor recovery. I definitely still feel the effects of my concussion almost every week, and I knocked myself out almost 4 years ago skiing.

Even if it was just a concussion, pleaseeeee be gentle on yourself durning your recovery. Keep in mind you had a traumatic event happen, don't work your brain too much right now. Let yourself heal.

hahahahaha this is one of the greatest posts ever lol. Thanks dude. Maybe I'll ask him for a 30 or something. I know him from high school, he was always a nice kid. I know thats not justification for what he did, but I don't want to fuck him over. He's already in a ton of trouble with the cops so i kind of just wanna get healthy and move on and hopefully he'll be able to do the same.

Same shit, new places. Going easy on the intranets though. Took the trolling to facebook recently. I mean already dabble in it for years but the last couple months caused a ruckus on there and it amused me.

I'm not political at all but oh my god I'm so beyond pissed that America got so fucking offended by a BATTLE FLAG that it was taken down from where it should rest. Everyone argues its about racism when it really isn't, its mostly because the fucking psycho supported it and killed black people and the flag never even touched a slavery ship. It's frustrating as fuck for someone obsessed with history to not be able to remember anything anymore. I used to be able to tell you about all these things and places, dates and people. Now I can't remember shit. I still love it. I'll frequently watch 10+ hour documentaries but anything new or that I've forgotten goes in one ear and out the other. I enjoy it in the moment, but I just can't convert any of it to long term memory. I still have a patchy knowledge of history but nothing like I used to.

If I went to college would have probably gone hard on the history. Got a 99 on the history regents in HS. Would have been a 100 but by douche bag teacher ripped the test out of my hand mid conclusion because he was pissed that I never did homework and always came back after he kicked me out and told me to transfer classes lolz.



In real life it's bad too. When people tell stories about a grandfather etc that you never met, and that's how you learn about them. That's how I feel about my life. People tell me stories, and I can't remember any of them. Like they were about somebody else but it was me. It doesn't seem real because there's no shred of memory left.

It's kind of fucking scary actually. Like there are huge chunks just missing. Going from remembering everything to this patchy existence of jumbled up partial memories is nuts.

I hope that one day it comes back, but I guess I'm just happy I've been able to keep my calm and friendly demeanor through it all. It's allowed me to keep my friends who have sort of kept my life together in a sense, keeping me from getting confused, helping me to remember things, helping me to feel alright, and to meet new people in the same way.

Idk if anyone of you have seen that movie memento, but I feel like I can relate. Nothing that extreme but those same kind of feelings. There's just something unsettling about not remembering parts of your life, the people in it, the places you went, etc.

I mean I guess I've always been out and about doing things so a lot of things that SHOULD be interesting might get cast off because there's so much shit, but it just bothers me.

A friend played a cd for me that I bought him. Not only did I not remember it, but I don't remember giving it to him, I don't remember ever seeing or hearing of the band, I don't remember any of it. I insisted it must have been somebody else but he was positive it was me. He's probably right. But I have things like that happen to me all the time now. I'll watch a movie then the next day ask the same roomate to watch it, having no idea that I saw it. Even after sitting through the entire movie again, remembering none of it.

That's pretty fucked up at least to me.

/sorry. Just had to get that out. Don't think I'm going to get too old, but at least for the time being shit like that scares me. Makes me feel like I don't even know who I am. Fuck head injuries.
