nmwninjartDid he fry them plain? Olive oil and onions improve the taste. Or slathered with butter or cheese.
Yeah, he just pan fried them in olive oil. I’ll use onions next time for sure!
BradFiAusNzCoCaThey are great when done correctly. I’ve started playing with cooking Brussels sprouts recently and I do not possess this ability yet lol
Haha ya, I clearly don’t either
mystery3Try cooking off a little bacon, then using the fat to saute some diced shallots (or onion) then add the halved Brussel sprouts and pan fry for a bit. You can cover and simmer for a bit as well if you're working on other stuff...just add a little bit of water or stock so they don't burn. Then when they're a little bit tender (don't overcook) add the chopped bacon and finish with balsamic vinegar.
Damn alright, this sounds delicious I will definitely try this out next time! I got a ton of bacon to use up too
hdubsWorst take ive ever heard. brussels sprouts r delicious
Lol I probably just cooked them wrong that’s why they taste hard and flavorless. I added olive oil, onion powder, celery salt, and pepper. Then pan fried em on low heat. The insides weren’t soft tho :(
