Comp skiers that switch up countries at pathetic. If your not good enough to go for where you live and train your whole life then you shouldn’t go. How can you feel good about yourself when you obviously didn’t make the cut and went and took some kids spot who’s actually from there and been working hard until you just took it out from under him because your mom grew up there. My local park crew is absolutely heartless. We had a sick 4 feature line with a dope flat rail gap to down rail at the end and I guess last night they removed that last rail. So now its just the two rails at the top and an A frame wall rail thing. I asked a couple lifys and a patroller to see if they had any info why but no one knew. Im kinda bummed tbh it was lokey the most fun and well built feature in the park.

Also on an unrelated note it really bums me out when everytime I would go through the park yesterday there was a dude sitting on one of the rails. Then he would go do some mid ass rock to fakey thing and hike back up the middle of the run to the rail he would sit on. Had to ask him to move and he got all pissy and yelled something at me when I skiied by but I didnt hear him good tho bc I was listening to Chief Sosa. I didnt snap a pic while he was on the rail but heres a pic of the moron sitting on the side of the rails takeoff before he decided he wanted to straddle that big black pipe instead.

theabortionatorTimberline still without a park setup after 2 weekends. Idk, i hate to be that guy but that's kinda whack for a place that considers itself one of the best parks in the country.

The Northwest didn't get as much snow as CA did but Timberline def got a decent amount.

Imo if you can open, you can get at least a couple jibs in the ground doe the people. Even just a hike park. Big L imo

Sure they'll have some good parks up eventually, I just think it's kinda beat.


Bruh they have a literal 4 inches base and one run open and its not even thanksgiving. They couldn’t build the park if they had 1 billion dollars and a crew full of geniuses.

Sitting in the back my rig this am at big sky with the hatch up waiting for open, boutta grill some pre ski burgers. Lots not full but a family pulls right up next to me, this really hyper active 10ish year old jumps out he’s running around screaming, some sort of stoke I assume so cool with that….I can’t help but notice after 30 minutes he’s quite a handful for mom and dad who aren’t paying attention to him.
I close the hatch and get in , close windows I’m bout to smoke and crash. 🤔😳
I get out… look… kid knocked his parents skis over. Scratched the fuck outta my caddy, damn things bran new, I let out a knee jerk, rather loud “fuck”, put my hands on my head and get back in…. I’m sitting there and before I can exhale Karen’s beating on my window, she explains, rather screams she’s mad cause I said fuck, she’s like he’s autistic….. Yak yak yak ….. I just stayed quiet told her to leave before I made her pay for damages, she said your not gonna sue us?

get outta here lady please I just wanna ski.

fucking bitch your kid scratched 150,000 rig and your upset he heard the f word, he’s running in circles throwing snowballs at strangers screaming random words and your full of shit that’s not autism, they’re lucky I had a good day or ida dented their hood and shit on it at the end of the day

Wish my family was at least slightly normal looking. There’s only 8 people (soon to be 7) in my immediate family. Only have one cousin that i haven’t seen in over a decade, virtually everyone on my moms side has been cut off, my dads side has nobody. Always feels sad coming home, especially since my mom is bald af rn from chemo. Everyone got massive family gatherings while i’m sitting at a table with 3 other people not including my dad on thanksgiving, beats having no one i guess. Someone’s always got it worse, maybe i shouldn’t complain.

Not to sound rude but patrol or liftys or anyone working at a ski resort this weekend probably could give two shits about petty complaints. Have some respect because they're working to make sure you can ski on the holidays while they can't. Especially at a place like Snowmass. Hectic crowds and people getting hurt and over-worked people/cat drivers/park crew guys/etc. But you also ski in aspen so that might explain the entitlement.

I wasnt complaining to the liftys or patrollers i just pulled up and asked if anyone had gotten hurt or if anyone knew what happened to it bc its kinda weird. It was a pretty empty day and no one really seemed pissed off I asked them about it lol. Idk why you are buggin on me Deebie.

I’m at my boyfriends and he hasn’t eaten all day. All I’ve had was popcorn for lunch because he didn’t want to eat. So I ask him what he wants to do for dinner and he says he doesn’t want to go out, so I offer to cook him something and he doesn’t want anything. He doesn’t have anything that I can just make myself and I’d feel weird doing that. I’m literally starving and sitting on his couch fuming with hanger.
