PsychicMigrationNEED ADVICE:
Friday morning I fell pretty fucking hard on my hands skating of a quarter pipe. been icing the hell out of both wrists. Pain is manageable. I can do a knee pushup with little a bit of pain nothing crazy but doesn't feel great. Can't do a real one without serious pain. I have a incredibly high pain tolerance which makes me worried. I have full grip strength and can move up and down with only a little loss of motion on the up. left to right hurts with that being on the outer part of the wrist just above where the bone sticks out a bit. Suggestions? recovery time? Everyone knows how much I value the experienced medical professionals on newschoolers.
See if you can find any kind of a clinic to get cheaper health care or maybe even free, Go to DSS in your area and see about getting health insurance if you don't make enough.
Call around, if you're in ski town USA an urgent care will fuck you. In tahoe there are places that are 250 to get in the door but in Reno I got an Xray for 110. If you're feeling like it might be fucked could be better to get it xrayed somewhere and find out if it's okay, if it's messed up but good to heal(what you can and can't do) If it's ultra fucked.
That sucks man.
Also I probably wouldn't do any pushups of any kind right now, you're just asking for issues. Even if you just bruised or sprained some shit, chill out. Either get it checked out or don't, but don't do unnecessary stuff while healing. If still sore maybe rock a wrist guard for a while while skating to prevent re injuring it. Be careful
If you have health insurance I'm not sure why you're asking if it's that bad. Also if it's that bad, once again, don't do fucking pushups my dude. Be careful. Good luck
