Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

WoFlowzfuck being sick for two weeks and taking a few days off school for my mental health just fucked my 97 overall average. i’ve got a week to make everything up. god dammit u best believe i’m pullin up to office hours.

Also fuck my new psychiatrist literally went to them cause therapy hasn’t done shit lately and i was willing to consider medication for anxiety and fam didn’t even do anything and just told me sometimes you just might not know why it happens and medicine probably won’t help if you don’t know why. like wtf does that do dawg. it’s ur job to help me find alternative solutions because therapy isn’t working.


stg it’s because i’m a dude. ik so many girls who just get out of everything with school and other shit when it comes to mental health but i actually try and seal help outside of school and inside and i’m hit with a brick wall. literally had a anxiety attack the other day and everything was spinning and my head was pounding and my counselor at school just told me to sit in the waiting room of the counseling center. so i just left

Facts in December last year when I almost died in a car accident and missed like 2 weeks of school cause I was in the hospital all my teachers except for 1 was super lenient with me, and either exempt me from assignments or gave me extra time. Except for my math teacher. She did not let me make up any missing tests or assignments, when I asked for help cause I missed so much class she told me to “figure it out”. I ended up failing the class since my grade dropped 35% cause I missed the final due to being hospitalized (all my other teachers let me take it online or come in later and take it). So now on my transcript it says I failed a class but I’m not too worried cause my lowest grade besides that 59% is an 85% I got freshman year. I had my mom go full Karen mode and all of a sudden the teacher didn’t come back the next semester cause of “personal reasons” 😂

If you stay in the same field and amass knowledge and connections the further you get away from being school-aged the easier it gets. Nobody cares what university you went to when you're 40.

Ty brother. I needed this. I'm still trying to finish my degree though. I can get an EMS degree in AAS by the time I turn 29 so thats a goal too still, but thank you. I just want to get it done for the satisfaction, you know? Just to get it out of the way.

us history is the fucking death of me. it’s ninth period and my teacher is a terrible teacher. such an easy class too i've got a hundred rn. checked my grades the other day and i’ve skipped the class 12 times this quarter and it doesn’t even matter. it’s a shame cause i usually think history is interesting but omg this year is awful.

my teacher last year was amazing. he taught world all from memory and wrote it on a white board everyday. didn’t give us jack shit for notes either. it was just lectures and drawings, we were graded on tests and one paper too. he didn’t have a single kid fail the regents either. Super chill dude too. i skipped school to spend my dads birthday with him. bought breaky, used my employee discount to get him some gloves at the mtn shop and buy him lunch and a coffee, then skied the whole day and walked around the village after. My dad called the school told them it was a family matter why i was gone and the school put it in as a family member death. so the teacher ^^ asked me if i was ok and why i was out if u minded sharing to him. i had said i was fine and spent the day with my dad for his birthday. i had happened to miss a 38 question test and he gave me a hundred cause he said spending time with my dad was more important

i’m basically ferris beuller. idk tbh i get my work done still and have a 96 overall average. plus i’m just nice to the teachers and make sure not to skip every day. plus if i do i usually have a note from a parent if u need it

things are not looking good for ski season. It's been 6 weeks since I smacked my knee on a desk and it still hurts after even 0.25 miles of walking. Knee doc says that I've bruised my cartilage behind the kneecap and that it could hurt for 12 weeks. I'm just growing skeptical that I'll be pain free by 12 weeks given how it is now

They also had the most fucking extensive vintage map collection I had ever fucking seen and that was tight as fuck.

I was gonna say. 'average public school' means nothing. I had a good experience in school in terms of academic and extracurricular options. Tons of AP and IB options, felt well prepared for college, could join any club, art, or sport, all that. Then I moved to rural Idaho and see how most of the options and benefits I experienced just don't exist here in the local school.
