I’d bet his circadian rhythms is confused as fuck, lack of sleep=lack of time to heal, run bodily processes, hormones get outta whack etc, terrible cycle. Plus he works out probably missing some nutrients, brains active as fuck, been there.

Every time I move into housing here it's all fucked.

Just finished cleaning everything though. Luckily was able to snag a carpet cleaner. Vacuumed and cleaned all the carpets. Tackled the bathroom and fridge today.

Boss was cool and through me a few hours since employee housing. In the old spot we had 6 people and i was the last to leave cause grooming till end of may/early june. Got things nice even other peoples shit. Always moved in kinda whack.

Hyped to be in the new spot. I hate that housing can move you into a spot with stuff in a fridge from a dude that left months ago apparently. Like sweet. Thanks.


I got my beers and bleach on and got er done. I don't care if things get a bit messy but when you know somebody lived kinda fucked prolly nice to get it cleaned up before you start living rhwre. Especially in regards to mice.

also hate how everything is political now. I get that this election is critical to saving this democracy, but the “liberal hollywood elites” sure dont try to hide their media bias. Full on democratic political blitz on all the talk shows. I’m somewhat liberal leaning, but the media bias’ is still quite repulsive

My surgically repaired knee has really started hurting lately and im super stressed over it. Didnt have anything happen, just all of the sudden I started getting a lot of pain when bending and and putting force through it. I had tore my acl in the past and this pain is on the inside of the knee below the kneecap. Going to get it checked out today. Annoyed its happening right before the season and not wanting to deal with paying for insurance either.

If you havent done anything recently to strain it I imagine you will be fine. If I remember correctly you recently had it repaired? Like within the last 12 months? If this is the case, you have to remember that there was a doctor inside your body drilling and tugging the shit out of it with tools. Even if you have felt 100% recently, it takes many months for the body to fully recover from a trauma like that. You will feel weird pains while healing. Ive had multiple knee surgeries through my years and to this day I still feel it. Just take it easy while it hurts, give it some more time and you should be back skiing in no time.

Was fine after skiing, came on after a wedding last weekend. Extra annoying to not really know a cause. PT person today said it’s either just a strain and it will get better, or I messed up my meniscus. Gotta just wait and see if it improves now

Hoping it's not a crazy issue and we can live normally without too much issue Nobody wants mice around but as long as they aren't eating into the food and shitting everywhere it is what it is. Happy I cleaned the fuck out of this place after everything.

Open to any suggestions. Allegedly dryer sheets can help. Down to replace them and keep them out if it keeps the mice issue down. leaving this place fucked with food for months was a big L for housing.


Hoping can make it work though.

I do like cats but both a no pet housing situation and i move a lot where i can't bring pets. Probably heading back to Australia next summer and may roll to Norway for the winter depending on things.

I did do a full furniture move vacuum and rug doctor of the whole house. Hopefully that helps. Worse case not stepping on mouse shit everywhere

Dumb question but have you tried traps? I got one my truck up in the dashboard it completely sucked, 0/10 would not recommend trying to live w mice

My advice would be to find out where they are coming in from and seal that up then trap the ones inside. Worked wonders when we used to have them.

Traps work fine but you will just keep getting more if you don't find the root cause of the issue. All animals like to be warm and cozy during the winter and the food supply in a house is just too tempting. Also don't use poison...it'll kill cats, dogs, birds, or whatever is looking for a snack when they find it.

I've heard the same thing with dryer sheets, but I have only personally used those when I've put boxes in storage or whatever. Throw a few in the box and call it good. Never heard of them being used throughout a house.

yeah they can get through a pretty tiny hole so hard to seal everything up but the more you can do the better. I heard some younger mice can get through a hole the size of an average pencil and most adult mice can squeeze through a hole the size of a dime

Being terminally on your phone is one of the most unattractive habits you can have. I was at dinner with some ppl from class and all conversation ceased as soon we sat down. I wanted to walk out but was to damn hungry so I just stuck around and stared at these people hunched over on their PHONES.

Yeess I use those sometime they got like a reasonable 80 mg or so of caffeine and are somewhat healthy and taste good pomegranate is the best

I’ve never liked that trick. It just doesn’t look technical or creative imo

Fucking opened the cabinet under my kitchen sink and noticed a container of cleaning supplies (lucky placement) filled with stagnant water God knows how long. Literally smelled like a p trap. Turns out my disposal was cracked and leaking from the crack as well as the bottom. Fucking balls.


On the flip side I'm getting good at stupid shit like this. I had a new one installed in under an hour (time to go to home depot to buy and then install it).

Kind of, yeah. Only because I have prior experience fixing that kind of stuff. If it's my own home I own, it's gotta get done, but absolutely detest being a renter and having to attempt to fix some other persons POS house.

fuck being sick for two weeks and taking a few days off school for my mental health just fucked my 97 overall average. i’ve got a week to make everything up. god dammit u best believe i’m pullin up to office hours.

Also fuck my new psychiatrist literally went to them cause therapy hasn’t done shit lately and i was willing to consider medication for anxiety and fam didn’t even do anything and just told me sometimes you just might not know why it happens and medicine probably won’t help if you don’t know why. like wtf does that do dawg. it’s ur job to help me find alternative solutions because therapy isn’t working.
