Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

Well I started with the snap traps (brand name and generic ones), but they managed to evade them. Tried this for months and the fuckers would trip the traps, eat all the bait, and continue living in my garage. If I see em alive on the sticky traps, I'll kill them. They chirp when they get stuck so it's pretty obvious.

Delayed anxiety is fun. Quit my job in the hospital because it was insanely dangerous and the most stress I’ve ever been in. I’m in the OR now which is still stressful but normal job stressful. Not “my patient can die at any second” kind of stress. Overall, so much better though.

Well, despite being constantly stressed for over a year even on my days off, I didn’t realize how bad things go for me anxiety wise. Now that I have little to stress over, EVERYTHING hits like a ton of bricks. I’ve had more panic attacks over literally nothing in the past 2 weeks than I have over the past 2 years. Shit fucking sucks. And it’s probably only going to get worse as my body learns to relax. And there’s a higher likelihood of delayed anxiety becoming PTSD. 😂 fuck our healthcare system lmfao

Buying passes is a nightmare. Payment options already being available during the spring and summer (who the fuck buys their pass in the spring) is so lame, on top of charging well over 1100 in some places (most places here in Utah.) I kinda hope vail/PWDR/Alterra take over because at least IKON and Epic are priced reasonable, cheaper than what people sell midweek passes before. Resorts will be country clubs eventually, mark my words.

I actually buy passes in the spring, mainly because our hill offers a "silver extra" pass in very limited quantities and it's the sweet spot for value only blacked out during Xmas week with substantial savings over the "gold" pass. The regular silver pass is blacked out at xmas and weekends in January and February.

got the search marqius or search barron virus on my mac a few weeks ago, tried all the tutorials and even bought a malware cleaner suggested by apple and nothing fixed it. I deleted chrome and redownloaded it and it completely got rid of it.

I know plenty of people that do not for some reason. Lots of my friends just ask me about stuff put it off then get the same fucking epic pass every time for no reason. Like no reason, there are no really great options back east. Epic has stowe (overcrowded and a parking pass that DOES NOT guarentee parking WTF), mt snow, has carinthia but fucked with people and then wildcat, the only option in reality but they barely blow anymore.

Timberline and Skibowl don't start selling passes until after labor day. they pretty much wait for all the other places to end their pre-season pricing and then announce how much it will be

My parents were so hell bent on punishing me I lost the most amazing high school jobs that would have carried me through college as a Jr because of them.

One was to sit in the park and all I had to do was open a gate. You could drink and smoke weed. Well one weekend I wasn't to be trusted to go to my job and stay home alone so my mom forced me to my dads house. My friend didn't open the gate for a huge party in the pouring rain and I got fired.

The other was $25/hr construction back in the day putting up industrial shelving. I had to refuse to work because the progress report saying I hadn't gone to any classes didn't come on the Friday and that meant on Saturday it was coming and my mom would be home and would take my car for at least a month. My boss was furious he had to go up a ladder by himself and I wouldn't come out of my house.

Being in HS was easily the hardest time in my life being an adult is WAY easier also this is America its pretty easy to get good at job hunting and making money in general if you click your mental state into the right gear. Its a lot easier than doing good at a competitive HS was.

HS was brutal waking up at 6am having to do hours of homework having to get into a good college having to work a job having to play varsity sports all the social expectations having friends hooking up with chicks. Then you have psychopath parents at your throat every day threatening to send you to boarding schools and shit.

I usually take like 5 min to shower. In the shower for like 2.

Now it's like a half hour min. Today was even slower because i kept forgetting stuff.

Wrapping something around leg. Taking shower trying not to get leg super wet. Driving off. Taking off bandage. Pulling out foam thing. Cleaning out wound, cutting new foam thing. Putting antibacterial ointment on the skin around it to try snd keep the skin from getting infected. Putting the foam thing in, re bandaging. Grt dressed, cleanup, done.

Today i just kept forgetting necessary things to bring to the shower. Living in a dorm atm. Then got rhe fosm thing all cut nice and in but it fell out so had to cut a new one.

Idk it's not too bad, just tedious arts and crafts shit instead of just jumping in the shower and moving in with life.

Been almost 2 months now healing. I'm stoked on improvements, like i can walk pretty well now, its nice to be semi mobile. It's just such a slow process. Will be nice when im back in a machine again so i can at least push some snow around.

Hopefully everything heals up pretty well. In general and no further complications.

Why is always the groups of skater kids that are like 17-18 hanging out with someone clearly over 21 that are the biggest douchers? Like find a better role model and for the other dude, grow the fuck up and go hang with people your age. Ive seen this time and time again and you either end up in jail with a record or dead because of drugs.

I'm staying in a dorm atm till my spot opens up. This dude down the hall got mad at me and weird because I went to town without him. He doesn't have a car. I've given him rides a bit. I get that it sucks to be far away from shit and not have a car. I went ro my storage unit to bring stuff bsck toward the mtn. I filled my car. The passenger seat has a bin in it with some stuff on that.

I'd have given him a ride but currently he wouldn't have fit. I could have brought less stuff back but I'm emptying out my unit for the winter again.

Like i get it dude, i said I'd hit you up if i go to town. But i legit filled my car with shit. It's not my fault you don't have a car. Don't be a dick.
