I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

So my family has always avoided one of my Aunts (my dad's little sister). I never knew why, always just assumed that it was my dad has a hard time maintaining relationships over distance. Turns out its actually cause my dad was abusing me when I was a kid (physically/emotionally, not sexually), and she (a children's social worker) confronted him over it. Been unpacking lots of mental shit lately, and this is the fucking cherry on top. Also, apparently I'm on the goddamn autism spectrum, which explains alot. The fallout of this is that I don't feel comfortable talking to my parents any more, which fucking sucks cause all my friends are too emotionally stunted to have a meaningful conversation about this shit.

I’ve always been tempted to give them a shot. I watch a lot of Mark Felton’s WW2 mini docs on YouTube and I know he puts a lot of content on both those as well.

I was also diagnosed with autism this year lol. Being high functioning enough to just barely fit in is still a struggle

If anyone knows a little javascript, you can remove anyone's post using a plugin that lets you run scripts (e.g. Tampermonkey) on webpages. The only tricky part is targeting the post, but that's not too tough.
