Birthdays kinda ended for me around 18…. That said I spend 364 days a year catering to my family and employees, I take 1 day a year for me where I always do something I always wanted to do, or spend a day sleeping whatever it is I want at the time.

this year I’m going solo to ski South America for a week at the end of august for my B-week
that is kinda crappy for wowflowz, feels man, can’t believe they wouldn’t take you and plan something for your bday in conjunction 🤷🏼‍♂️ Oh well happy b day…. Sounds like you got open house, throw yourself a party, put your addy on NS throw a rager 😂

If you are a teacher you should feel ashamed. This is why kids kill themselves. "Mr. Poopybutthole, Rick is being an asshole and told me to kms"... "you'll be fine. Get over it".... Kid proceeds to shoot up the school or hang theirself.

Man, I got covid and my sense of smell is fried. This has to be the worst part of the virus.

I’m shocked! I feel cheated. I can’t even smell bleach, fabric softener, food, cinnamon, or my own rancid farts

The poor girl that went missing in Truckee last weekend still hasn't been found. It's been over a week and there have been no signs of her or her car. It's hard to believe someone could just vanish in this digital era. I hope for the best for her and her family. It gets scarier with each passing day.

Sometimes when my mom makes me mad I’ll call my grandma and tell her my mom won’t let me go to her house and she’ll call my mom and yell at her ☠️ I’ve been doin this since I was a kid it’s funniest shit ever. Once when I was around 8 or 9 my grandma took my WWE toys cause I was being a little shit so I called my great grandma and she ended up yelling at my grandma ☠️

My two closest ski homies left for college and its gonna be the first season skiing without them in a long time. I graduated last year and I had always been friends with the high school kids at my local since they were the best park skiers. The age gap in skiing can be a weird thing especially since I started late. Gonna be such a different dynamic at the hill this year as another generation heads off to school. HMU for some park laps in MN

Nice to hear that its not just me. Gonna be a totally different type of season, but the goal as always is to just keep the stoke alive. More laps for the soul this year I think, and hopefully making some new homies like you said

My first friend I ever made skiing was a comp jock from the UK who was living in summit county for a few moths and skis copper every day. Skied with him a few times a week for months until he went back home. Dude taught me to hit my first big jumps ever all the way up to watching me throw my first rodeos and flips. Sucks losing ski friends lol

Biggest fuck up Ive made traveling lol. Read that I could still get a visa in arrival. That was old news. I got to airport and got to gate, did not get on plane, did not go on vacation. Now riding buses and drinking beers at sketchy bus stops trying to get home.

Even at the end of this bus I'm gonnna have to hitch hike another 30 min to Greenwater. At least then i can get a ride to my car.


Pretty bummed though. I really need this trip. Still going to try to make it work. Surprisingly positive for how shitty things went today. Hoping I can still make the trip happen and have a good time. Haven't traveled since before the covid. 2019 but that was mostly working in Australia. Haven't done a trip jist to do a trip since 2018. Friggin itchin to get out.

I mean it's obvious but double check them visa requirements. It makes sense that almost everyone is doing them these days. Glad I traveled a bunch before in case things stay more restricted.

Should be able to get the visa np though. Hoping i can get another flight worked out and get sendy.

I wasn't really close to them but I was bummed when Nick and Sam went west. Nick would get me to try stuff and was my hype man. The energy was just a little bit different without them around last season. It was cool to see them come home for Christmas though!
I really feel that age gap because I discovered this skiing thing very late!

Nah. Thats in the late spring. This was kinda random last minute. Also camping and was moving from OR to WA living in the car or tent and booked it all while doing that so derped a bit.
I guess its good if it still works out. Moving forward i wont let that happen again hopefully. Stoked to get out and wander.
