safarisamBro why are doctors so judgmental when it comes to women’s health. Do they really think I haven’t thought about everything that happens when you go off birth control? Man I hate feeling bullied for wanting to take control of my body.

twinkle_toesFuck I get super agitated at how useless both my brothers are. Neither of them have jobs. Both are over 19 and like twice my size. Lazy as fuck and don’t help my dad out financially in any way.

Meanwhile I bust my ass at work to help my parents out, and also help in any way I can at home. And my older brother said he wanted a Porsche. Lol. Buddy just got his N, can’t even drive to the store without my mom in the car?? Porsche my ass. Not sure how he plans to pay for it either. And it’s great and all that he got honor roll at university. Like sick, here’s a high five. You finished your homework and racked up 20k in debt. But we got bills to pay and shit to do.

I’m not a fan of doctors either, too many are there for the check, are dumb as fuck and don’t know shit without a research paper in their hand, a research paper that’s old and obsolete most likely, rather than go off experience they all opt for the cookie cutter strategy, not to individually help those needing, wanting and begging for help, some doctors are good but most don’t give a shit and even more are stuck in their oh this research paper says…. Yah I know the research says and you have no mind or experience of your own which is why I’m waaay healthier since I stopped going to the doc and listening to those over hydrating, over medicating, dipshits.
Even worse are the insurance companies, they’re supposed to be there to insure you, in reality it’s a money business and nothing more, they would rather I die than refill my script, fuck you UPMC, fuck your repetitive incessant pre auth process, just fuck you.

MinggToday's rant: I'm starting to hate texting my boyfriend and miss him all the time.

We've officially known each other a year per our snapchat streak - though I'm pretty sure it's been a few weeks longer lol. We text all day basically but definitely not as quick as we used to. But still a decent bit of the day. I'm starting to hate it. Texting is boring to me. I've been realizing I just want to talk to him in person about my day. As in like, go home and see him after work. As in like living with him. When I'm home after work I do my own thing but I feel myself wishing I was with him and I don't think in a clingy way. It's not like I'm worried about what he's doing, I just genuinely enjoy his presence.

We've been spending a lot more time together and have two trips planned. One in July to either Chicago or New Orleans and then another in November to Disney. We love Disney. We've been hinting at moving in for a while and have discussed a few details, like me renting out my apartment (my dad owns it so it would kind of be subleasing). I only pay 725 for a 3 bedroom 1200sq ft lower. I could easily get 2000 per month for it. If I rented it out for 1500-1600 per month that would be a decent bit of extra income to contribute to our living expenses. He owns his house and I assume I would pay into the mortgage. I don't think I would want to live there for free. Because I rent from my dad and my bf owns a house, theres no pressure or timeline we have to follow, which is nice to not have that external pressure but also makes timing weird. Like how do we even set that up?

My dog does still need to meet his cats. In February he did mention we should do that soon (still hasn't happened lol). We've been together officially for almost 10 months. So I realize its a little early to think about moving in. At one point when talking about how his friends moved in after 3-4ish months he said he'd only feel comfortable moving in with someone after a year. So I'm not sure if he was indirectly telling me to expect in after a year? But hes been bringing it up a decent bit. Like I jokingly said i'd be adopting this super sweet kitty from petsmart and he told me to do it but then said "never mind this might come back to bite be in the butt" referring to possible three cats and a dog as pets. So I know he's thinking about it and it's in our future but because there's no definitive timeline, it's hard for me.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure I'm ready? We both were in long term relationships and lived with other people. We're in our late 20s, early 30s so I'd image things would move a little bit faster than usual since we've been through this stuff before. I also don't want to rush it. My last boyfriend and I moved in after like 8 months together because of our living situation. So it's nice not having to rush like that but I also kind of want to live with him...

Now back to my first paragraph, I want to tell him about my day in person. I want to spend time together even if its only for 2 or 3 hours after work and we do nothing but sit on the couch on our phones or playing videogames. Anything. So idk, maybe this means I want to move in?

You should hear the financial advice doctors get. Pardon the hard R, but so many of them are financially retarded it’s insane. Everyone thinks doctors are rich, but after their med school payments and insurance/malpractice, they’re some of the cheapest people you’ll know cuz they don’t know how to invest and manage the rest of their money. I respect their smarts and what they do as it’s a very respectable profession, but I’ve had it up to here with them and whoever the fuck gives my wife financial advice.

SavageBiffI respect the profession, and the individuals in it to help improve the lives of others, I acknowledge the intelligence behind it as well, but at the same time I’m greatly disappointed with the majority and attitudes of many medical professionals, too many are too heartless and in it solely for the $, and lbh, too many of them are not necessarily dumb, but they’re robotic in their treatment and a lot of that is on insurance companies and the medical system not offering the highest level of care possible, my ex: they could perform more comprehensive blood work etc to help determine illness etc, but they forego the more comprehensive test for a cheaper less revealing test and thus the doc is less informed bc of the insurance company, combine this with a doc who doesn’t care in a medical center that’s pumping people through like a McDonald’s drive thru and the quality of care is shit now a good private practice doc and staff can be very incredible, and yes you can find some great individuals in large hospitals and centers too.
And it is mind boggling how poorly some invest their money, whether doctors, musicians, athletes, my mind is truly blown when one of these types go bankrupt 🤷🏼‍♂️ On that same note, I just read a financial survey where households making 250k a year are stating they are barely getting by!!!! Like Gzuz Christ what the hell is wrong with these people! Single moms and dads are doing it with waaaaahaaay less so props to them, maybe the rich need a lesson from the poor…

She doesn’t get paid or have benefits/maternity leave like she would have at a big corp, but likes how she can tailor her own treatments and not have to go by set standards. Yea I give her shit about living “paycheck to paycheck” with her income, I do need to stop being a dick. Told her to buy some bitcoin or at least invest in the market when she started but her financial advisors told her not to invest until she had 6-8 months saved in a bank account for a rainy day (which for a doctor is like fuckin $80k), except then ultimately the rainy day fund gets spent on house projects anyways.. I put all my money into bitcoin now i’m the breadwinner of the house despite just being a stay at home dad, its kinda ridiculous

WoFlowzI’m literally so jealous of the life my parents got to live in as teenagers. My dads parents were professors and he got to live all over Europe, the US, Africa, Australia and travel those areas. Like he got to spend 3 weeks in Fiji on his own when he was my age. Fly to Hawaii on his own etc. My mom got to travel a fuck ton cause her step dad (my grandpa/only real father figure she had) had something to do with some big medical company and he owned condos and houses in The Keys, Hawaii, Montana, Hilton head, lake houses in Wisconsin etc. So my mom got to go ski big sky over her winter breaks, and go to hawaii a few weeks a summer, same with the keys and in the winter. Along with bring her friends on all of this. Like Ahhhhh why can’t I have summers or vacations like this.
