I’ve been on both ends, I do mainly commercial property maintenance, pick up trash, lot sweep and landscape etc and I feel bad when we operate early, but contracts say we have to 😩 so sometimes you’ll find me with a chainsaw at 12am or 3, god I feel like a dick cause I know something disturbing my much needed sleep really affects me and idw be the cause of that but sometimes I cannot help it.

Decided to just take the L and fail Pre-Calc and Chem for the year cause im way to buried to save myself in 2 days

This will be the second time i took both those classes and failed both in a row

But I still dont gotta do summer school cause my 8th grade self was cracked out and got 3 math credits and 1 science credit done somehow

I only need 4 of each to graduate soooo i just gotta grab my nuts and get shit done next year

I was on a high rise job in downtown Seattle once and I was that guy that had to fire up the compressor and start jackhammering at 7 am every day for like 3 months in a row. One time this woman came over from the neighboring apartment complex crying about the noise she couldn’t take it anymore. I felt really bad but at same time it’s like - you know who else has to get up and listen to this obnoxious bullshit every day? ME!

had the absolute worst day climbing that I've ever had on Monday lol

Went up to donner and decided to hit one hand clapping. 3 pitch route, 5.8-5.9+-5.6. I took the lead on the 5.8. Ran out of gear on the way up. Ended up having a couple 15-foot runouts trying to save gear and a hefty ~30-40 foot one after I had ran out. Shouldn't have placed my 2s and 3s down low lol. Well, it turns out covid 2 weeks ago was still affecting my lungs real good even though I was feeling 100% prior. Hacking a lung and out of breath all the way to the first anchors. Set up a belay and got absolutely horrible vertigo. Cue anxiety that I haven't felt on a rock in a long time. Belayed my second up to the anchors and after a lengthy discussion decided to bail. 2 awkward rappels later since we weren't on the rap line and we were on the ground. Absolutely destroyed my ego. These routes were well well well within my comfort and leading zone 2 weeks ago.

Drove up to grouse slab to do some short routes that might be easier on my lungs/anxiety. Proceeded to climb a tiny bit better, but both of us struggled. I hacked and huffed my way up a couple of 5.9 top ropes and we had to leave. Fuckin bummer of a day. On the bright side, my partner also struggled leading a couple routes so the sufferfest wasn't alone.

I def felt like a Dick too, if I’d had a choice I wouldn’t have, luckily they were big shopping centers etc, so there’s not a ton of homes close by, but some of them were closer, had one with high class apartments on top of the grocery, people went nuts when we pressure washed the garage at 12 am, so now the place is covered with oil stains etc…. We haven’t done it for years, they removed it from contract 🤷🏼‍♂️ Lol there’s puke stains from drinking the works, place is a mess 😩

my county bought me some population data to work on about a month ago. Sounds great I will process it and stuff and give it out to everyone. Shouldnt take to long. Cue me putting it on the backburner because lets be honest, not a crazy priority. get to today, and boss wants me to have a meeting with program leads and let them know what we have. Cool ill login and process it. Shouldnt take more than a few hours and ill meet this afternoon.

Nah, the login expired for the download 2 days after we bought it. RIP. had to come clean and say I haven't worked on it and frantically call customer service to get a new one. Kill me

OK, carpet in a basement is stupid as I experienced last year when I had water in my basement. Also equally as stupid is carpet on stairs. Ripped up both today and lemme tell a ya, it is a bitch and a half. Motherfuckers used enough staples, even hulk himself would have struggled with this. Then I spent 2 hours on 8 fucking stairs pulling out every single little staple. Fuuuuuucccckkkkklkk youuuuuu carpet guys. You don't need this many staples. No one is actively trying to rip up a carpet. Half this amount would accomplish the job easy.

Tomorrow gonna rip up more carpet. Can't wait.

Tl;dr a shame i dont have a dash cam, but… This was crazy! Was going to Rockies game with some friends. They were a few cars ahead of me in the parking lot so they parked and were saving the spot next to them for me. But then that red Etron was in front of me tried to park there, or somewhere he parked all fucked up not in any spot. So when he tried to back up to straighten up i went around him and parked in the next row basically conceding my space next to my friends since it looked like he was gonna take it anyways. he musta got pissed off that i didnt yield to him to back up since i just went around him so he honked at me but really he was just honking at my friends and these other tailgaters since i was behind him so they were already annoyed with him. Then i saw he actually pulled thru and spot was still open next to my friends so i started to slowly back into the spot. Then his fat wife gets out yellin somethin and starts walking back towards my car to confront me and then starts screaming to the world that “hes gonna run me over!!” While my friends are telling her to move that were friends trying to park next to eachother her husband gets out yelling at me saying i almost hit his car blah blah then everyone is telling them to calm down were here for baseball and relaxing and he just got even more irate. It was nuts. And most ridiculous thing is those cars drive themselves yet cant park in a spot properly without a 3 point turn. I think he got triggered cuz when he put his car in reverse it wouldnt let him back into me so he musta been mad the car was telling him it was avoiding a collision idk they were batshit crazy old people.

Also second day in a row i’ve been yelled at by a senior citizen. We were golfing with this family group yesterday who brought their toddler, this lone old man was playing solo behind us we offered him to play thru at like hole 14 but he declined. Then for whatever reason at hole 17 he starts getting really irate with us for being slow

That sucks. Like need to be admitted and put on a epi drip bad? Otherwise get over that fear man. Just carry your epi pen. I get stung maybe once every 5-10 years and that's with being outside all the time and having to clean up buckets of bee covered pears from my parent back yard. Odds of you getting stung are pretty low overall short of disturbing a bee hive or stepping on one with bare feet.

Yeah you are right about this. Last time I got stung it was on my thumb and I swelled pretty badly all the way up to the top of my shoulder/bit of my neck. I don't think I'd need an epi pen drip, maybe extreme isn't the right word. but if I got stung anywhere above my belly button or so, there is a very real risk of my throat swelling shut and I would have to epi-pen myself. Epi pen definitely stays with me most of the year

Fuck I get super agitated at how useless both my brothers are. Neither of them have jobs. Both are over 19 and like twice my size. Lazy as fuck and don’t help my dad out financially in any way.

Okay fuck that. I hate that mess. I spent most of my life on hormonal birth control, and it’s so nice to be free from that and not have judgmental doctor. Find a new doc! Best decision I have made in a long time.

You ladies should flip the chip and acost the doctor for their high and mighty bs, I would def make an example of him.
I’m not a fan of doctors either, too many are there for the check, are dumb as fuck and don’t know shit without a research paper in their hand, a research paper that’s old and obsolete most likely, rather than go off experience they all opt for the cookie cutter strategy, not to individually help those needing, wanting and begging for help, some doctors are good but most don’t give a shit and even more are stuck in their oh this research paper says…. Yah I know the research says and you have no mind or experience of your own which is why I’m waaay healthier since I stopped going to the doc and listening to those over hydrating, over medicating, dipshits.
Even worse are the insurance companies, they’re supposed to be there to insure you, in reality it’s a money business and nothing more, they would rather I die than refill my script, fuck you UPMC, fuck your repetitive incessant pre auth process, just fuck you.
