Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

Rparrwahhhhh the website I've been buying weed from for ~5 yrs just shut down. I am absolutely not buying an Ohio medical marijuana card, we have the worst medical MJ system in the country. Our average cost for an 8th is 71$ lmfao

Dude it's terrible lol don't even bothef. And the quality isn't that great either. Only reason I have a card is because it allows you to possess and transport weed so if you get pulled over you'll be good.

The state that has billboards about reporting suspected drug traffickers and stuff like that. Shocking. Ohio is a fucking garbage state on drug laws.

I'm sure it's mellowing out. Kinda sucks the tax money is changing it more than people realizing putting people in prison for drugs is stupid. But I guess it's "progress"?

It's absolutely bullshit. Most of the original licenses went to wealthy people like the Shottensteins (I noticed them when I saw a job posting a few years ago I almost applied for. They're in the corporate structure) or big companies that mass produce machine trim garbage. Very few individual growers and dispo owners. It's not too expensive to get the lower tier license but getting it is the challenge. A 10th averages $35-45 lol

So our issues are corruption in license handing out, low competition resulting in poor quality and higher prices, and still living in a state that thinks weed=bad. Plenty of cops that would still love to bust you even tho weed is decriminalized for low amounts.

Yeah Ohio has been so cunty I think it'll take a decade or so for them to chill out. Old habits die hard and Ohio love hassling people for drugs or even suspected drug use. Especially the highway cops. They're legit trained to be a bunch of fuck faces. Indiana is pretty ass backwards but I'm even stoked to see that state line. I'd rather drive across nebraska, and nebraska fucking sucks.

Aside from the cops, of which Ohio troopers are straight cunts, I'd choose Ohio over Indiana or Illinois. Those are some boring fucking states and slow highways. Same with PA, God their highways are slow on I90.

No. Technically it is a federal offense to transport across state lines. The card is state specific. If a medical state that I'm not privy to pulls me over, I've heard cops are more lenient about letting you go via their discretion, and probably since let be honest, most cops don't know the laws fully. Also heard tsa tends to be lenient too if you got a card, even though it's totally illegal to bring on a plane. Never had issues with tsa and I've had my bags searched plenty of times.

My Ohio card gives me the ability to purchase, possess, and transport within the state of Ohio up to the legal medical limits which are much higher than the decriminalized amounts. Also my job is the type where I'd have to sit before my licensing board if I got a misdemeanor for a drug offense so this protects me from ever getting that misdemeanor and having to be in that situation. More of a piece of mind thing.

Traveling in non-medical states with weed is a crime and they can enforce their laws as they see fit. The card doesn't help other than maybe provide some sympathy votes.

crazy girl, I think suicidal or just brain in outer space turned into me driving in opposing directions, my jeeps totaled 😞 , it was my ski rig, been from PA to wv, NY, VT, Maine, Colorado, wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Nevada u name it, scratch free, this was a few days ago




today I’m approaching the line at the grocer, it’s the section that has 2 , 12 items or less and a self checkout belt, in 1 aisle, soon as I get in line this Dick in a golf hat, with his matching shmuck outfit is like I’m in this line and that line, im waiting for whichever ones first

i fucking lost it verbally, in some ways made an ass o me self in more ways made an ass of that fella, I wish I’d will smithd his ass, he actually turned and hid behind a woman 🙄

and my ski season is over 🤯

Yeah I was worried a bit about that too but the states keep that stuff super private. No way for anyone to see or know it exists without a warrant. I have a ccw in Ohio. I plan to buy more guns in my lifetime too. Call me a criminal but I disagree that you can be a straight up alcoholic but weed usage suddenly makes you dangerous or unsafe.

it’s only purpose was skiing so I didn’t need big or flashy, and I’ve completely walked away from “cars for fun”, now my garage is like my quiver, smaller, but much more purposeful, it hauled everything, everyone, got good gas and was cheap. They’re actually kinda nice too for an entry level, now if I had a job or did things I might buy nicer… idk what to buy now 🤷🏼‍♂️ Def something big enough to haul a camper and extend my days and cheapen stays cause fuck it’s expensive to stay places

Thx it was, ultimately glad no one got hurt is the big thing, I wasn’t wearing a belt came out basically un scathed I’ve def crashed harder on skis, most of u have too, things got good airbags, just real in convenient timing all around

Put down some fucking beauty lines mowing collars today on the course but oh man my knee is seriously fucked and Im kind-of bummed. But also SLC is a shitshow as far as medical resources go and its hard to get an MRI quick right now. Fucking sucks when your body is the money maker, you know? I dont want to be out for the summer. I can't do a fucking desk job.

Facetimed with my parents and my niece today though so that made things better, but I also really fucking miss my dogs still and my cats.

Your refrigerator might be broken and not holding a constant temperature. If you have a thermometer toss it in the refrigerator and check it a few times. Ideally you can use a "high/low" type thermometer which tracks the high and low Temps but those aren't a common household item.

My friend told me to ask for help if I needed it with my knee, and literally only Jack has come thru on actually helping. I started my new job yesterday— I’m exactly one week out from surgery— and came home in so much pain. He’s cooked for me, taken my dog for bike rides, and had me spend the night so he can check in and make sure I’m okay. I appreciate his help, but man, sometimes all you want to do is see your friends and it kinda feels shitty when the only person helping you (or wants to hang out) is a your very complicated fwb. He’s gone way out of his way to make sure I’m alright and that makes me feel kinda bad.

If there is one thing that has increased my dating prospects the most in the past 5 years it has been my mustache. Without it I fall into the overwhelmingly generic skinny Brozemanite category. Not even joking I have had dates openly admit that the 'stache and long hair is what attracted them to me. I don't even care that it is a completely shallow thing to be attracted to somebody for, but it has got me laid more than once.

But in the end I grew a 'stache for me. Originally I was just going to grow it for ski season, so that I could have the visual gag of ice and snow frozen on my face on pow days, just for shits and giggles. But now I really don't think I could shave it even if I wanted to.

Some “looks” suit certain people very well, you prob look “right” and good with a stache, whereas even if I grew a luxurious handlebar mustache, I’d look stoopid. So more power to ya, enjoy it, it’s cool to do it for you, or for someone else, if my wife said I’d like this or dislike that, I’d def consider it y know, and if I was still chasin I’d def be doing whatever I could for an advantage, Def hard to cut after all that “ effort” I know hair just grows but when ya grow a beard you really feel like you put in work lol, it’s like damn I just got this now I gotta cut it.

Yea, someone got him chocolates for Christmas.
He was indeed a character.
He won a local "Whiskereno" contest so many times, they had to ban him to give others a chance!

He liked fast cars, and was a renowned chef as a hobby, he could cook all kinds of food, but loved Asian more than anything else. He entered an Adobo contest with all Filipino men, and won! It was blind testing. The Filipino's were kinda mad a white guy won!

He also won many arm wrestling contest, until his arm broke in one of them. I think, that's the mark on his arm here.
