Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

My mood or at least anxieties swing pretty heavily. Something like not being able to find my keys. It's really hard to chill. I'm going good not to totally melt down like i could sometimes but damn. Some of the small things fuck everything up sometimes.

Doing pretty good at just playing some music and avoiding the thought. Shit can be tricky. In these smaller scales it's more manageable but when it gets gnar it gets gnar.

hdubsFuck school and having no idea what I want to do in life. I have to finish an essay tonight that's already hella late but I have less that zero motivation. Maybe if I had some sort of direction I'd have some motivation to do work, but goddamn i have no drive to do shit. Honestly might just withdraw next year and take some time to work and figure out where I want to go from here but I actually have to finish the semester first.

My mom is obsessed with letting my dog go outside to pee, I keep telling her Neva doesn’t go that much — twice a day maybe three times. She ignores this and keeps asking me why she doesn’t have to go more.

she also had bit brought me ice and I just did my exercises and it HURTS and I need ice and she’s taking her ever sweet time. I could get ice faster than her bus she isn’t letting me get it AUGHHHHHHHHH

It's crazy how 1 day off and negative sleep csn put a person in a bad spot. When you work nights 1 day doesn't even feel like a day. Also not trying to deal with deamons just to survive...

Story of my life. Learned this the hard way at an early age. Got relatives who are just too damn proud to say sorry for the trauma they caused my family.

It’s not even that man. Like I’m taking pretty easy classes I just have no motivation to do them. It’s literally just this one assignment that I’ve dug a hole for myself with and now I just think to myself what’s the point of doing it

I think I sprained my acl last year after a 3 day Backcountry hut trip during a 10 hour skin back to the car. Idk never got it checked my broke ass can’t afford a physio lol

Rested for like 2 weeks and was back to skiing.

But it’s really starting to bug me more and more these days. It’s a gross feeling. It’s like a deep grinding sensation in the middle of my knee cap. Land the wrong way and it’s sore all fuckin day. I’ve heard u can rehab a stretched acl tho which is sick. No way I’m tearing that shit need my knees hahaha fuck

Given the stories I’ve heard from my friends’ knee injuries tho I’m not complaining

For sure, I know she’s just trying to help but my mother is a narcissist and sometimes withholds my medications so it’s a struggle to say the least. You need to change your entire schedule to fit hers, and theirs no regard to whet you want/what you like.

I enjoy their stuff here and there. They can be fun to listen to. But man, there are so many deadheads out there who revolve their entire personality around that band. I've never been able to relate to that level of obsession with any kind of music.

And apparently looking both ways across the road before you cross it isn’t important anymore…
If pedestrians don’t make eye contact with me before crossing, so I know they do indeed need to cross the road - I’m not fucking stop for you. Get your head out of the clouds and pay attention. I’ll keep driving on purpose until they notice, then they look all shocked when they see a car…. Natural selection you should get hit by a car if you’re that dense

Sounds like it could also be your minsicus. Flaring up a little tear. Does your knee feel unstable at all? Like it gives way when you're trying to do things? That's usually the big indicator of an ACL issue.

Grinding itself isn't always particularly concerning. Both of my knees grind, there is some arthritis in both thanks to decades of skiing. But it isn't particularly painful, just a sign of wear and tear on the cartilage

If the grinding turns into catching moreso than grinding, or is painful. That's more concerning

If your doing leg extensions or forward lunges that can really exacerbate what your already experiencing. Idk if you are/were, if my comment is n/a sorry for wasting your time, if you are implementing them in your workout, maybe find a way to replace those exercises, modify, or minimize, g luck

Literally any podcast, the Podcaster reads the ads as part of the podcast.. For example Look up an episode of The Powell Movement and check out the show notes, you can skip directly to him reading an ad about 10 barrel brewery pr how much he loves his 686 pants.
