Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

DeebieSkeebiesYou can get lucky in some spots, or park at the HS and take a shuttle over on weekends, but honestly getting up before 7 or 8 and driving to the resort can be annoying sometimes but the best way still.

PC and summit County UT Just implemented a new traffic flow pattern and route at the resort as well as around town so there's tons of police presence and city workers everywhere now. You either get a fat ticket or towed

Ah that explains why I’ve seen cop cars every 100 yards. Luckily I can just catch a bus in now but I’d hate to have to ski here regularly.

Also forgot that it’s presidents weekend so shits fucked in Colorado too rn

My friend got a good dslr and gopro stuff for filming skiing. So far all he has done pretty much is follow cam another friend carving and take a lot of action pictures. He edits the pictures into little slideshow like videos and while they're great photos, the videos are so mid. I have no idea how to tell him what's up without being a dick

first time I agree with you on something.. Already on my 2nd rear main seal. 3rd shock, drive shaft slip yoke bucks back and forth every time I stop.. I don't like this truck. Plus the fuel tank needs to be 20 gallons larger. but stock trans so far.

yesterday a couple of them were having a convo about going to our little local hill (Hoodoo) me being one who skis way more than they do and even gave my snowboarding supervisor a run for his money at the Roooope Towwww

I don't have high hopes for a positive reception here, but this is effectively criminalizing being a trans child in Texas. It's either senselessly cruel or deliberately intended to remove any future trans people from the state and either way absolutely nauseating. Families' lives are going to be upended and ruined because of this, and not just trans people and their families. Medical practitioners and teachers who don't comply could lose their jobs, and if you don't support this but comply, how do reconcile knowing that you're abandoning the care of a child to a state that doesn't acknowledge their right to exist? If you know any trans people, give them a hug. I don't know if I've ever more deeply wished to enact violence on another human than right now. crystal is my local and even i didn't realize you needed to have a registered plate on weekdays...

reservation system as a whole is pretty stupid in my opinion. still fat crowds even on "restricted" days. i miss first come first serve, whiners who want to leave seattle at 9am and roll into B lot should probably just quit skiing

I have nothing to with the parking. That said if they don't ticket cars that don't pay, nobody will pay.

It sucks we've been parking car where the cats park ao we have to park the cats in the woods on the weekends. And a couple of times we've been unable to park at home after working all night and had to find random spots to get parked somewhere to go home and sleep.

But yeah, idk. People complaining on instagram no more about the parking than me. I know they have paid parking on the weekends, that's about it.

I know, but our terrain park page was getting blown up with people bitching about the parking. I work here, i know nothing about parking, cant do anything about it. I just push snow around at night and generally avoid humans.

My birthday. Had to work. Was hoping to go in on swing for better snow and to get out early.

Last weekend of night skiing and all parks are night skiing trails. Went in at 915. Things were going decent now my cat is pisisng hydro and im sad :(

Also have to work tonight again. Hoping I'm able to ride a bit today without being too tired.
