Yeah I know there were some rant threads over the years grinds my gears and whatever. I don't think any of them were that happening to dig up. I probably made one of them honestly. Whatever.

I figured if we could rant somewhere we'd be more docile creatures in the rest of the forums.

Completely agree. I'm on my fifth consecutive night of working 20-hour days. The fact that an eleven-hour day tomorrow sounds like a nice break is pathetic and makes me yearn for the jobs I used to hate, hah.
CaseyI hear that man. Saw a job open up for like a part time lifeguard at the city I work at, went to my big big boss kind of jokingly and was like, do you ever look at these jobs and ask yourself wtf you’re doing busting your ass?! And he was like yeah I actually do, did you see the skatepark manager job come open a few weeks ago I had to talk myself off the ledge.


Anyway the struggle is real

“Going out” is boring as fuck lol like I can totally see why Some people see the allure to going to the club some people like to dance some are looking to meet people but fuckin A it’s boring especially if you are a guy I like going out, and drinking, And Skiing, Or Snowboarding, Or Fishing, Riding a bike literally anything that is not just going out for the sake of being out, standing (or sitting) around/ dancing doesn’t sound fun to me..

anyways going out tonight because my homies want to do that and I wanna be a good friend and be there with them but i’m just gonna be standing there the whole time….

Clubs and crowded bars sound terrible. I cannot for the life of me mingle. My ideal social setting is playing a board game or something with a small group. Game provides some structure to the conversation but leaves room for more and I don't have to mingle. So playing pool in a chill dive bar has become my ideal night out.

Da Fuq is up with the new Google maps after the update? It always prefers "eco friendly" routes even though I set it not to in the route options. I'm not some quinoa fed berkenstock wearing California gender neutral tik toker I got places to be and things to do! If I wanted a zig zag route to my destination that looks like a small child drew it on the kids menu I could have done that myself. Thank you.

A little while ago my family moved and now I’m 4 and a half hours away from skiing and I argue with my mom a lot about how I don’t go enough and I said I only go skiing like once every 3 weeks and she said “that’s a lot actually”

Well had a first today. Literally got told by some old lady and her daughter to ride a different chair on a fucking quad because of covid 😂😂😂😂Like how irrational is your fear? Outside. Massive airflow. You couldn't get covid even if I was coughing in your direction on a chairlift. Also people, an n95 will not work properly unless you're fitted and know your size so all the idiots with n95's lololololol

I feel like it's pretty easy to call everyone or send a group text and ask that no one shares anything before everyone else is notified. And it's easy not to post it on facebook until everyone important is told especially if you are the one giving the news. That's pretty shitty tbh. I found out my grandpa passed away because my cousin posted about it on facebook before I was told (I was at work and my parents were waiting until I got home to tell me). It was an honest mistake but still super shitty. People have to learn how to incorporate social media into their lives properly.

I like the homies I skied with today but my neck is FUCKED hard from wearing a helmet and having to duck out of the way of the bar or getting hit by it. Why the fuck did they insist on putting it down are you scared you'll jump off?

I'm not against helmets or anything but if I don't wear one the bar doesn't hit my head if I do it does.

Its the act of ducking quickly in that direction that fucks your neck more than impact of the bar.

I want to ski with something that is like one of those car wheel locks where I put it on when I sit down and the people can't put the bar down.

My friend did this but with a mtb brand. He got sent 1 pair of free grips. He kept tagging them for over 2 years acting like he was sponsored 😭

The mountain I work at started doing paid parking. People started messaging our terrain parks page about parking issues. Yelling at us etc. Because we have parks in our name

You can get lucky in some spots, or park at the HS and take a shuttle over on weekends, but honestly getting up before 7 or 8 and driving to the resort can be annoying sometimes but the best way still.

PC and summit County UT Just implemented a new traffic flow pattern and route at the resort as well as around town so there's tons of police presence and city workers everywhere now. You either get a fat ticket or towed
