He's a scottish deerhound, german sheppard, pitbull mix, with other shit thrown in. At least according to the dna test lol he loves kongs and nylabones but he'll wear through the nylabones and the kongs dry out if I let him play with it outside.

It's not too much, but damn it's weird buying things to give to an animal and say 'here, destroy this'. He's worth it tho

This chick who I had been seeing for a while who I liked but had my doubt's about dating decided to tell me on Monday of this week right as I started my new job that she wants to cut things off. While we aren't dating and I'm not too sad about it because I had been thinking the same thing, why not just wait till Friday so I won't be thinking about it at work on my literal first day?

All season it's been a shitshot but even today. He wanted to finish pulling features on tuesday(tomorrow)
I came in in today to get. A head start on some shit.

Found out he randomly came in so i called him. He doesnt want to do anything else today but wants to do shit tomorrow morning at 8.

Fuck that. I was there, biots on ready to go. Nice ass day. But why do today what you can put off till tomorrow.

Also doubtful I'll go in at 8. Fuck that.

Maybe I won't even set an alarm and ill roll in whenever. Why the fuck we didn't just finish today makes no sense.

Idk. Communication has been severely lacking all season. Stoked that he won't be hear next season.

Also for some reason he's been setting up a plan for me for next season. I get that for a business lets say a restaurant, somebody buys it, you stay on for a bit of time to help then adjust, answer questions, show them any little quirks about the place.

But i don't get it in this situation. It was this guys first year here too, and honestly he didn't really do his job at all. So why is he making me a plan?

Basically even when we had 6 smaller rails in early season, he'd get mad if you mentioned wanting 5o swap a feature even. We hadnt had one rail changed for over a month. I could have reset all of them in 2 nights by myself while still jeeping up with any other grooming.

I get if you want to be lazy, but why would you shut down anybody trying to take initiative and be a dick about it.

Then at one point he wanted me to reset 4 rails on thursday. This is after we had all our parks open and stacked. Thursday it snowed a foot and a half and was blowing sideways.

Digging out the parks and making them rideable was the best use of time. It would be a terrible idea to reset featyres just to have them get buried, and waste the time on that instead if digging out.

Called me in the morning when im iff the clock about to go ride and enjoy a pow day and was in such a weird salty/cunty mood. Basically told me that i was fucking over our parks by not setting those rails. Like what? Are you fucking kidding me?

Dude's a hack. Idk. There's no consistency. We opened a park with 1 rail/nothing else. I added some other features because he built these death rollers that were sketchy af. Rollers on a steep pitch with lips. People were going like 50 feet down the trail snd a few people got wrecked. Anyway added a few rails to make the park decent. Got yelled at because we dont set features just to set features. Each feature worked and anything was better than the death rollers.

Then dude would set some janky rail setup just to set something.

Like yo where's the consistency dude. You can't flip flop that much and be such a dick about people trying to reset rails.

I've never seen somebidy be that much of a dick to people just for mentioning that they want to swap out a feature.

Idk. Just another example of people that can be shitty at their job but somehow say the right keywords to management and management thinks their doing decent.

Stoked I won't have to work with him anymore.

Welding some new features this summer and puttong fork sleeves on every existing feature as well. So I'll be able to swap rails around by myself at 4am whenever I have some extra time.

It'll be great regardless, but especially early season. If you only have 6 features and a small jump, should probably swap everything at least every few weeks if not sooner. Having the same shit for 2months because you're lazy is kinda lame. And then being a dick if me or the day staff guys even mention wanting to change something.

Next year isn't going to be easy by any means, but it will be nice to just be able to do my job. Focus on making the parks as good as we csn get them instead if wondering if we're going to get yelled at for something stupid.

I actually feel a lot better after that lol. Its been a long season. Stoked that this week I'm miving out and hitting the road for a few weeks before I start at timberline.

It's nice to have a break. Been working from mid Nov till now. And was on grave shift till 2 weeks ago.

But I'm excited to see where our park program can go here. It'll be a lot of work next year still having one cat a night but i think we can build some rad shit. And i think not having that guy around will keep morale a bit higher for the day staff guys.

Also qhen management is on board with the parks expanding, you expand. Would be cool to build a few new features every year.

Not sure how big the parks will get but at least were moving in the right direction and management is on board.

Hoping next years park is sick but it's going to be a bunch of work getting it to that level. As long as we improve yeat to year that's solid, but it would be cool to get a legit park program going here.

Idk man. I just miss my girl. She broke up with me recently and i just kinda miss her because she was my best friend. Now we dont talk. All ive really been doing since then is hitting the gym and getting massive (like i havent been doing this for the past two years). Anyway, im not complaining though because shes just more motivation for me in the gym.

I just watched the dogs for 8hrs and took a nap for 3 while my parents went out shopping and then to dinner with friends and then back to their friends for drinks. And they yell at me when they get home for being up at 11:30 at night and doing homework in the living room with the dogs on the couch. Telling me it’s to late to be doing homework and I should go to bed and shit like I didn’t just sit at home and watch the dogs while they get to go have fun. Not to mention they told me they’d bring home dinner and be home by 7 and I didn’t hear from them till 11:15 and they didn’t bring me home any food at all. Fuck and now I realize I forgot to do algebra

Bro i feel this. It’s hard mine broke up with me a year ago out of nowhere after 2 years and there’s still days I miss her. I miss all the little things she did for me everyday that I probably took for granted. It’s normal to miss her, but remember to live for yourself. You can do whatever you want with your life now and just choose whatever makes you happy and you’ll get through it as a better person

I run my own company and allow my employees as long as I don’t see what I call “ dickhead shit “, like leaving a smoldering roach for instance, do t smoke in buildings, if your gonna smoke on my job site do it in my truck and make sure you don’t get caught. I consult, and work at another landscape company, owners a fire chief, absolutely no cigs or weeds or vape carts, nada, in his trucks on his sites etc, I tell the guys Cary ozium foggers lol, he’s caught me before I tell him go fuck himself find my replacement, he knows he can’t do shit w/o me lol, I locked keys in a truck before, didn’t answer phone so I broke the window I ant got patience for that kinda shit, he was so upset, brand new truck like 700 miles , his first Peter built too, it’s all good tho, back to the pot thing, don’t get caught with drugs kids, getting caught is baaad mmmK
