MiIfHunterdid u have to throw hands or anything on that dad?
Nah, he was like oh didn't see you sorry. Which is cool but it's not a very big bowl area, like it's fucking tiny. If you use your eyes it's not that hard.

Also lol at the downvotes on the last. The problem with scooters is that people don't learn how to ride them. It's like anything where you get into things as a kid and don't stick with it, but scooting at the base level takes nothing. Any kid that has functioning limbs can ride one.
People aren't riding the park. They're just playing tag. Drop in from one side go up the other, drop back in go back to the start, etc. Come in from the side in a pack etc.
You'll get snaked for days wating to drop and even when it's finally clear somebody will come out of nowhere. It's friggin dangerous. Scooters are the bastard child of bmx and skateboards. Something that's easy to ride, requires no skill, and attractive for children. Where even on a bmx you'd have to be even mildly competent to drop in, you can just send it on a scooter.
At arvada there's a big snake run with a huge bowled wall at the bottom. You can take as much speed as you could ever get into that thing. kids were sitting on the sides, completely hidden just dropping without looking. Nothing like coming screaming in toward the end at full speed and almost ending some kids life as well as your own.
The problem is we've gone too far. At one point people were too much of assholes, forgetting that we were all learning. Now people are too nice. Yes sidejumping and snaking in the park is fucked, yes going any which way on a scooter is fucked.
It's a fun place to play but it's not a playground. Without basic etiquette it becomes not only annoying but also dangerous.
If you think that scooter kids snaking anywhere they want is a good thing, you're probably a friggin kook too.
The best is the little kids on boards that look around and pay attention. They might have just started this month, but they seem to have some basic respect. The challenge of riding the board probably helps. Learning to drop in etc. Versus just snaking somebody, almost causing two collisions, and flailing their scooter around on the same bad tailwhip "attempt" they've been doing for years.
Scooters fit into a skatepark slightly more than pogo sticks, but at least I've never been snaked by a pogo stick.
Idk, I'm sure I was hitting too close to home for some people and they got mad. Let's go to the skatepark and roll around in a pack swerving in front of people while yelling about fortnite. Seems fun.
There's an indoor park in south lake tahoe that's pretty dope. It's just a bowl and a mini ramp. You'd think it would be fucked when there's too many people there. Nope. I've skated with 15 or so people there and it didn't even feel bad. People wait their turn and then are ready to drop. They do they're line, try a trick and then gtfo of the way when they're line is done or they fall. Nobody even takes excessively long runs when it's busy. The worst thing to happen is the occasional board get's sent off the mini into the bowl while somebody is riding.
Etiquette. The scooter may not be inherently shitty, but it's the vehicle for bullshit. In australia I saw people rocking scooters with 2 front wheels. If you can't ride a normal scooter you shouldn't even think about going to a skatepark, and maybe not even getting in an out of the shower, because your balance is obviously shot.
Idk. There usually will be a few kids on scooters, trying tricks and riding around, respecting other people, and trying to educate the dumb kids etc. At the same time, scoot lyfe is primarily those shot kids.
Idk, skateparks are for everyone, but they're also for everyone. Just because your scooter requires no effort to ride, doesn't mean you can snake everyone.
Idk, downvote this too. Friggin kooks. I'm shitty at skating, but at least I'm not in peoples way. I wish there were other parks close to me with more segregated bowl where the scooter kids don't really hang.
My knee is actually fucked from that shit. So yeah I'm a little pissed. Fuck scooters. I've seen it go from decent rideable skateparks places to 50+ scooter kids making it literally unrideable. Not because of the volume but because of the unpredictability of them. Idk, I don't want to get fucked up, I don't want to level a kid. Collisions happen but I'm trying to avoid the easily preventable ones.
If you think that's stupid well fuck you too. I'm out
(Also obviously most of this was to thread not replying to milf)
